TE October Sneak Peeks: Shiny & Bright and Little Bits Present

Welcome back for Day 2 of sneak peeks!  Today I have two more project to share with you!  The first uses the NEW Shiny & Bright set.  Shiny & Bright was illustrated by Nancy McKinney and is comprised of different ornaments and beautiful sentiments. There is also a coordinating die set that will be available for purchase that makes diecutting these ornaments so simple!

For my card, I stamped and die cut two ornaments for my card.  The background piece was embossed using the NEW Snowfall Embossing Folder.  I "hung" the ornaments on the card with some ribbon and created a little "belly band" with the sentiment.

The second card I have to share with you today uses the Little Bits: Present.  I just LOVE these little dies!  They are great for adding a little "embellishment" to a tag or a card, or you can use a bunch of them together like I did in this card.

The background was embossed using the NEW Sheet Music Embossing Folder.  The sentiment is from the NEW Sing of the Season set.  It was stamped and embossed in white onto Oreo cardstock.  I also used Strawberry Milkshake, Salt Water Taffy, Cherry Pop, Peapod and the Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack on this card.

TE October Sneak Peeks: Deck the Halls and Woodland Winter

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the October sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions!!  We have lots of exciting new products to share with you!  I have two project today and the first uses the NEW Deck the Halls set.  Deck the Halls is an adorable new set, designed by Danielle Lounds, that contains adorable little critters and Christmas lights!  ;)

I used the reindeer image from the set.  I LOVE how he's all tangled in Christmas lights!  lol  I used the NEW Gingerbread Lane Matched Kit for my card.  The kit contains the Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack and well as coordinating cardstock!  On this card I used Sugar Cube, Cherry Pop, Peapod and Oreo cardstock.  The circles of cardstock are embossed with the NEW Winter Flurry Embossing Folder!  Then sentiment was stamped and embossed in white onto a piece die cut with the Band It Die

The second project I have uses the previously released Woodland Winter set with the NEW Woodland Winter Dies!  This adorable set now has coordinating dies to make cutting out these critters so simple!

I used the Winter Flurry Embossing Folder on this card as well.  The patterned paper is also from the Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack.  The tree was "decorated" with the NEW Gingerbread Lane Sequins!

If You Can Dream

Good morning!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I have a card to share with you today that was inspired by a card on the Taylored Expressions Pinterest Board.  I was inspired by THIS CARD by Wanda Guess.  What inspired me was the sponging of the frame.  I often forget you can add "depth" and interest to a card without adding any bulk!

I decided to do this with the Spotted Cutting Plate.  I die cut a piece of thin printer paper using the Spotted Cutting Plate.  I secured it over a white piece of cardstock and sponged using Distress inks (Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint and Rusty Hinge).  Once I peeled up the "template" I created, I was left with this wonderful background!

I used a sentiment from the New Beginnings set along with the Silhouette Stems 1 Die.  Even though this is pretty much a clean and simple card, it doesn't really look like it because of what the sponging adds to the card!  I hope you've been inspired as well!!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Haunting

I have a fun little card to share today.  With Halloween coming up, my kids LOVE to find cards in their lunch from time to time!  :)  This card uses the 13 Dead End Drive Die from Taylored Expressions.  This is such a fun die that will go well on a treat bag, a card or even a scrapbook page!

I used papers from the Matched: Hocus Pocus Kit.  I also used some Hocus Pocus Sequins!  The sentiment is from the Mischief Maker Lil Pumpkin set.  On the circle that is behind the spooky house, I used the Tangled Webs Embossing Folder

You can find all of these products at Taylored Expressions!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful day!
