TESC Dance

Happy Monday, everyone!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  I always LOVE Thanksgiving week.  I look forward to a short week of school and then LOTS of family time.  :)
Today, I have a card for you that uses the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge.  I thought this sketch worked well with the barre image from Life Is a Dance.  I stamped the barre and colored it with Copic markers.  Then I stamped the ballet slippers from the same set, colored those with Copics, cut them out and adhered them to the "barre" with foam tape.  The scallop was created using the Small Scallop Border Die

I stamped the sentiment and then die cut it using the Plain Oval Nestabilities.  I had to change the location of the sentiment oval for my card.  It fit better below rather than above the rectangular panel.  So, I guess you'd call this card an "interpretation" of the sketch!  :)  The papers are from the Life of the Party Collection from My Mind's Eye.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day!  SUPPLIES USED:  Stamps- Life Is a Dance (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Life of the Party Collection (My Mind's Eye);  Accessories- Plain Oval Nestabilities, Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Copic markers, Baker's Twine (My Mind's Eye), Small Scallop Border Die (Taylored Expressions);  Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"
