Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks: Bistro Lights Cutting Plate and If Cats Could Talk

Hi there!  Welcome back for the last day of sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions!  That's right!  Tomorrow, at 8am Pacific, you'll be able to purchase anything that we've been showing you these last few days!  Today I have two projects for you.  The first uses the NEW Bistro Lights Cutting Plate.  This is definitely a fun cutting plate!

It comes with a die piece that cuts the little circles so you can pick and choose colors for your lights!  :)  I used an orange, yellow and light blue color scheme and replaced some of the blues with sequins from the Build a Scene Sequin Mix.  The sentiment is from the NEW In & Out - Wedding set.  It has great wedding sentiments for both the outside and inside of your card!  I carried the dots onto the inside of the card surrounding the sentiment with them.

The second project I have today uses the NEW If Cats Could Talk Stamp & Die Combo.  This set is adorable!  It gives you the flexibility to change the cat's face!  Yep!  Just stamp the cat's body and you've got different faces to choose from!  How fun is that?

The frame on the card is from the NEW Frame In Frame Cutting Plate.  I also used a few sequins from the Wedding Sequin Mix.  The patterned paper is from the Build a Scene 6x6 Paper Pack.

Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks: Garden Arbor & Gate and Little Bits Party Dress

Welcome back for Day 2 of sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions!  Today I have two more projects to share with you!  The first uses the beautiful NEW Garden Arbor & Gate Die Set.  Isn't this just a gorgeous die set?  I just LOVE how it makes creating something beautiful so simple!

I also used a couple of other new dies along with Garden Arbor & Gate.  The vine with the flowers is the NEW Arbor Accessories Die Set.  The grass was die cut using the NEW Wispy Grass Border.  The sentiment is from the NEW Fancy Banner 1 set and is stamped and embossing in white onto an Oreo tag die cut with a die from the Build a Tag 1 Die Set.  The outer frame of the card is also a new die called the NEW Frame in Frame Cutting Plate!  I used the largest frame for this card.

The second project I have for you today uses the NEW Little Bits - Party Dress die.  For this card, I used it as a wedding dress by die cutting it in shimmery white cardstock from the Metallic Neutrals cardstock.

I paired it with an image and sentiment from the NEW Carried Away set.  The sentiment panel was die cut with the Label Stacklets 1 and the image was stamped first in a pale cream ink.  The sentiment was stamped over that in black.  The cream background was die cut using the NEW Bold Lace Cutting Plate and then more cream cardstock was layered behind that to give it a tone on tone texture and feel.

Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks - Block Party Love and Fancy Banner 1

Good morning and welcome to Day 1 of the Taylored Expressions sneak peeks for March!!  We have lots of new, exciting products to show you over the next few days so I hope you'll visit daily to see what's in store!  I have two projects to share today.  The first uses the NEW Block Party - Love Die.  The die cuts the word "love" out of your card.  It works with both orientations of a card too!  Here, I've used it for a 5.5" tall card, but it also works on a 4.25" tall by 5.5" wide card!

I've also used another new product for the front, the Bold Lace Cutting Plate.  Instead of using it to cut, though, I used embossing pads when I ran it through my Big Shot so that it embossed rather than cut.  After diecutting "love" out of the front of the card, I die cut it again twice using Cherry Pop and the Metallic Neutrals gold paper and offset them a bit so the letters look to have a "gold" shadow.

The second project I have for you uses quite a few new products.  Let's start with the sentiment.  That comes from the NEW Fancy Banner 1 set.  Fancy Banner 1 contains this beautiful banner, a coordinating die, as well sentiments that fit inside.

I created a shaker using the NEW Forever & Always Die.  I filled the shaker with the NEW Wedding Sequins.  They are a pretty metallic mix!  Also within the sequin mix, I added little die cut hearts from the Carried Away Die Set.

The last new product I'd like to point out on this card is the Floral Vine Embossing Folder.  It adds such a nice touch to the background layer of this card.  The cardstocks used are Cherry Pop, Sugar Cube and Metallic Neutrals.
