You Make My Heart Leap

Here's a card using the latest Fall To Layout on the Clean and Simple Stamping blog. I decided to use a Rubber Soul set called Animal Love. I haven't used this set in a long while. You can find it at Stamper's Dream. I thought this image and sentiment would be perfect for a Valentine card.

I just love simple layouts that make a card quick and simple! Why don't you stamp a quick and simple card today? Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Animal Love (Rubber Soul); Ink- Regal Rose, Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific), Kiwi Kiss, Regal Rose (SU); Accessories- 1 1/4" circle punch (SU), scallop circle punch (Marvy Uchida), ribbon (May Arts), paper piercer; Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Beate Weekend Sketch #37

It's time again for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I have been in need lately of more masculine or boyish cards. I don't know if the ribbon I added on this ruined that. . .what do you think? Maybe I shouldn't have tied the knot and just left it as a band across the card? I used the Rubber Soul set A Day at the Zoo. I have had this set for a while, but this is the first I've inked it up. I just love the bold images. For this crocodile, I added some lining with a black marker to go with the color scheme. Be sure and check out what wonderful things Beate, Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo and Sharon have come up with for the sketch. Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- A Day at the Zoo (Rubber Soul); Paper-Whisper White, Basic Black, Wild Wasabi (SU); Ink- Wild Wasabi, Basic Black (SU); Accessories- Spots and Dots and Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug folders, ribbon (May Arts), paper piercer, Basic Black marker.

I Adore You

I am just LOVING my Rubber Soul Stick people sets I got from the Paper Pretties Corner Store! They were waiting for me when I came home from the hospital, but this week is the first I've been able to play with them! This card is for Mary Jo's sketch challenge over at Beauty Lies Within. It's her first sketch challenge. . .and I think it's great! Head on over and give it a try! I'm not sure how well you can see in the picture, but the white paper on the background of the card is embossed with all kinds of "love" words. It's from the Embossed Stack by DCWV. I thought this would make a nice wedding card or anniversary card. The gal's dress is covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. . .so sparkly!

We're still enjoying the holidays with friends and family, so we've been out and about a lot. Thanks for continuing to stop in! Be sure and leave a comment on this post to win some Oodagoodies courtesy of Julee at Verve Visual! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Love (Rubber Soul); Paper- All Dressed Up Stack, Embossed Stack, Metallic Stack (DCWV), white cardstock (Georgia Pacific), Basic Black (SU); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine); Accessories- paper piercer, scallop circle punch, white gel pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter (SU), white organdy ribbon (Darice)
