It's time again for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I have been in need lately of more masculine or boyish cards. I don't know if the ribbon I added on this ruined that. . .what do you think? Maybe I shouldn't have tied the knot and just left it as a band across the card? I used the Rubber Soul set A Day at the Zoo. I have had this set for a while, but this is the first I've inked it up. I just love the bold images.
For this crocodile, I added some lining with a black marker to go with the color scheme. I think the ribbon is fine... ribbon is good... we all NEED more ribbon. LOL. Love this... especially the dots on the gator and the cuttlebug'd card stock. :) Have a great weekend babe!

This is a great boy card! You can use ribbon on a card for a boy so long as its the right ribbon and you did a perfect job!

I love this card! I've been wracking my brain trying to think of something appropriate for my nephew. He's a young and incredible 13. He LOVES to laugh and I think this stamp would work.
I feel terrible that I don't agree with everyone else, when it comes to ribbon on a male card the only thing I do is wrap it around cardsock. As it is said "to each his/her own", that's what makes art. TFS.

This is absolutely incredible, so full of texture. I love it. I just finished having my kids at school writing paragraphs about alligators.....this fits so well...must ask Amy to borrow her Zoofari set.
