Backyard Kisses

Here's another one of my latest digital scrapbook pages.  This one uses Summer Template 15 from Tiffany Tillman.  This picture was taken when Isaac was about 8 months old.  It's amazing when you look back on pictures how much you can really see how the kids have grown.  When you see them everyday, it's hard to notice the differences.  For instance, I can't believe I forgot how short Isaac's hair was.  Of course, it was still growing at that age, but now, friends of mine refer to his hair as "rockstar hair" since it's so long!  LOL

The Joys of Summer

Here's a card I made a little while ago. . .around the 4th of July actually.  I used the Day at the Beach set from Papertrey Ink.  I just love this set but don't use it nearly enough.  I decided to do a red, white and blue theme.  The paper is Enchanted Evening, Pure Poppy and Beautiful Blooms
The bikini was stamped twice.  One set was cut out and adhered over the other with dimensional adhesive.  Hope your summer has been filled with these kind of joys!  Thanks for stopping by!  SUPPLIES USED:  Stamps- Day at the Beach (PTI); Ink- Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening, Fresh Snow (PTI), Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening, Beautiful Blooms (PTI); Accessories- Dazzling Diamonds glitter, paper piercer, ribbon;  Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Savannah

Here's another one of the digital scrapbook pages I created.  This one uses Summer Template #16 by Tiffany Tillman.  This page is all about Savannah and her faces.  She's always making goofy faces.  I could fill an entire page with all of the different faces she makes.  :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!

Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge

I was able to participate in this month's Blog Hop at Papertrey Ink!  The challenge this month was to work office supplies into your creation.  I don't use a lot of office supplies in my creations regularly, so this was a bit of a challenge for me.  :)

I used the Beautiful Blooms II set, Take Note and It's Official for my card.  I also used some coordinating dies, Beautiful Blooms II #2 die, the Spiral Notebook Page die as well as the Just the Ticket border die and Large Scalloped Border die.  The paper I used was Pure Poppy, Harvest Gold, Beautiful Blooms and Library Ledger

As far as office supplies, I used a staple, a rubber band and a paperclip.  I kind of used the rubber band as a ribbon, clipping (or tying) it with the paperclip.

Be sure and head on over to Nichole's blog to see the list of participants for tonight's blog hop!  You can hop along and see everyone's take on using office supplies in their creations!  You can even chat over in the forums and enter the Blog Hop Forum contest!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday, Julee!

Today we're having a blog hop for a VERY special person's birthday!  Happy Birthday to Julee of Verve!  Anyone who knows Julee knows how wonderful she is.  She is the biggest sweeheart!!  She is such an inspiration to me in so many ways and I feel so fortunate to call her friend.  Happy Birthday, Julee!  I hope you have an awesome birthday!!!

The card I made for Julee has something that always reminds me of her. . .butterflies.  This particular butterfly is from one of my favorite Verve sets, Beautiful Kindness.  The sentiment is from the Wishful Elegance set.  I also used the latest Mojo Monday Sketch for my card.

Please join us in the hop and make it on over to Julee's blog to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  The next stop along the hop is Julia Bettencourt.   I can't wait to see the beautiful creation Julia has posted!  If you somehow get lost along the hop, the full list can be found on the Verve Blog.  Thanks for stopping by and for hopping along with us today!

Hi

Here's a card I made using the sketch from the Blast From the Past Blog Hop at Taylored Expressions.  I wasn't able to participate in the hop this month, but I loved the sketch and still wanted to use it.  I used the In the Park set.  I love this little doggie image.  Isn't he cute?

We just returned from a little vacation, so I'm trying to get unpacked and caught up with everything here at home.  Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a fabulous Friday!

Cool Kona

Here's a card I made a while ago with the Hangin' Loose With Kona set from Our Craft Lounge.  I thought I'd make Kona's shorts the same color as the paper.  It makes a perfect female card, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!

Daddy's Girl

I have continued my obsession with digital scrapbooking.  :)  I have quite a few pages. . .I just haven't shared them all with you yet!  Here's a page I created using Tiffany Tillman's Summer Template 17.  I had all these pictures of my husband with Isabelle and thought they would make a great page.

Amber Ink Grand Opening!!

Welcome to the Amber Ink Grand Opening Blog Frolic! Today the Amber Ink store officially opens its doors, and you are invited to hang out with us! Amber invited me to join the celebration along with the Brilliant th(Ink)Tank Girls, and we're all excited to show you the new products. So get ready to drool!

I kind of went crazy creating with the Baby Mermaids set.  I just think it's the cutest thing!  I've never really used DigiStamps before (other than just printing out an image), so I had a blast creating these scenes in Photoshop!  To create the scenes in my projects, I used the Baby Mermaids set along with the Make a Scene set.  I made a layered file in Photoshop Elements and when I liked the "scene", I printed it out and created my projects.  The first is a journal set for my daughter.  She LOVES to write and draw and always wants a new notebook or journal.  I thought this little mermaid image would be perfect!  Isn't she adorable?

Along with the journal, I created a bookmark that allows the mermaid to "peek" out of the top of the book.

And this Starfish. . .just the cutest!!!  Isn't he?  The patterned paper I used on the following two cards is some of the iPaper available at Amber Ink!

Isn't this image of the "baby" oyster adorable too?  I just love all of the images in this set!

Not only do we have eye candy for you, but we're giving away some secret hidden prizes along the way. You won't know where they are hiding, so make sure to leave some love wherever you go. Winners will be chosen from the comments on the pre-selected blog posts.

Without further ado, here's the list of genius...go forth and comment!

Amber's Blog...she's da' boss!

Have a brilliant day, and HAPPY SHOPPING!!

July Key Ingredients at Taylored Expressions

There is a new Key Ingredients kit available at Taylored Expressions today!  Taylor challenged the Baker's Dozen to add bling with glitter to anything and everything!  A Quickie Glue pen comes in the Key Ingredients this month along with GLITTER, so it was fun to add it all over!  I have 3 cards for you today that have lots and lots of glitter on them!  :)
The first card uses the In the Park set along with a sentiment from Summer Afternoon.  I colored the image in with Copic markers and then colored the leaves with the Quickie Glue Pen and added the Parisian Mist glitter.

The second card I decided to "dress up" the patterned paper itself.  Here is a picture of the patterned paper BEFORE glitter.  The closeup shows you how I traced the patterns and added the green and blue glitter.  Pretty cool, huh?  I also used the Stitch Doodle Dot Template to trace a scalloped line with the Quickie Glue Pen to the ends of ther paper and add the glitter.

The last card shows you some chipboard completely covered in glitter.  What a fun, sparkly flower!

So, are you inspired to get your Key Ingredients and take the challenge?  We'd LOVE to see your creations using the July Key Ingredients with lots and lots of glitter!

Remember, you can also subscribe to have the Key Ingredients sent to your door every month!  I can't tell you how easy creating is when you have this coordinated package all ready for you!  Subscribers receive a 10% discount plus free shipping every month on orders that can be combined with your monthly shipment!  There is also a gallery devoted to JUST the Key Ingredients, so you can always look there for inspiration if you need some!  You can view ALL of the details of being a subscriber HERE

Verve Project Parade - My Hero

If you haven't visited the Verve Blog, the July Project Parade has started!  This month's theme is My Hero.  I went a totally different way with my project and it was inspired by this picture I took.  This past weekend, we had a joint birthday party for Isabelle and her cousin (my nephew) Ethan.  They were born hours apart, which was funny because my sister was due at the END of July!  Anyway, I was taking a bunch of pictures of the birthday duo and this picture just made me smile.  With the look on Ethan's face and the way Isabelle's head is tilted looking at him, all I can imagine her saying is "My Hero!"  LOL

Isn't it funny where inspiration comes from sometimes?

Anyway, head on over to the Verve Blog to find out how you can win some Verve goodies!  There are two ways!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you're having a great day!

Taylored Expressions RELEASE DAY!

It's RELEASE DAY at Taylored Expressions!  You can purchase everything you've seen here the past few days RIGHT NOW!  Today, I have to show you projects I made using the Weigh To Go set and the new A La Carte Destination Cuppies

My first project uses the Weigh To Go set.  My husband and I try to get a morning walk/run in.  Often, we don't eat anything, we just grab a bottle of water and go.  I came up with this because I thought it would be a neat idea if I was meeting a girlfriend for a morning walk, to supply the water and "breakfast"!

I also used this set to make a card that doesn't have to be specifically about weight loss.  I thought it was could be an encouragement card for someone who might be training to run a marathon or compete in a similar sport.
Next up, I have two of the Destination Cuppie A la Carte images for you.  One is Destination New York and the other is Destination San Francisco.  I had a lot of fun with these!
I hope you've enjoyed all of the sneak peeks this week!  All of these sets and Project Pantry kits are available for purchase NOW at Taylored Expressions

Be sure and visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen today for more eye candy!
