Birthday Wishes

I hope you're all getting ready for the holidays!  I'm trying to keep from being stressed or overwhelmed.  So far, so good, but we'll see how the next day or so go!! ;)  I have a card to share with you today that uses the November Stamp of the Month from Taylored Expressions entitled, In the Garden.  I also used the coordinating die set for the mason jar.  The die set is called Patio Party.  I used papers from the Vintage Bliss Collection from Simple Stories.

I love that the sweet images in this set go so well with this patterned paper.  The mason jar was stamped on vellum and then die cut.  I stamped the sentiment onto patterned paper and punched it out with a circle punch.  The flowers were colored with Copic markers.  To finish the card, I added some ribbon and rhinestones

To find out more information about subscribing to the Stamp of the Month, visit HERE.  Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful holiday!!!

November Verve Diva Dare

The November Verve Diva Dare is going on over at the Verve Blog and today is my turn to share my take on it.  Head on over to find out the details of this month's dare entitled "Shape Up".

I used Unto Us for my card.  The papers are from the Nordic Pines Collection from Bazzill.  When I was thinking about what shapes to add to my card, I decided to make a Christmas tree out of the triangle.  I trimmed a triangle out of green cardstock and then stamped it with the snowflake from Unto Us.

Next, I decided on a star for the top of the tree.  I stamped and cut out the star from Chevron Love and attached it to the top of my "triangle" with foam tape.  I used the frame and sentiment from Unto Us along with the coordinating Classy Label Die for the sentiment.  I die cut the reindeer using the Reindeer Fun Die Set and embossed the reindeer in black.  Rhinestones were added for the ornaments on the tree and some baker's twine to finish the card.

As always, there's a chance to win!!  So head on over to the Verve Blog for all of the details!!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day!

Warmest Wishes

It's been a long while since I've used the Apron & Pocket Die from Taylored Expressions.  I thought I would use it in a holiday way for my card. :)  It coordinates with the What's Cookin' stamp set, which is great for that special cook or hostess.  I started by choosing my papers.  I used the 'Tis the Season Project Pantry.  I stamped the apron on different patterned papers and cardstocks and then paper pieced it to create this festive apron.  :)

I used a sentiment from the Big Bold Christmas set.   The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white on black cardstock.  I think this apron and sentiment would work well as a tag for some home baked Christmas cookies too!!  I love when an image can be used for more than what it was intended.  Just mix in a holiday sentiment and this die and image can be used for a holiday of your choice!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Taylored Expressions November Release Day: Bottled Up and Pockets & Pages

It's RELEASE DAY!!  All of the products we've been showing you this week are NOW available in the TE Store!!  I have a few projects to share with you today just in case you need an extra push!  ;)  My first project uses the new Bottled Up DieBottled Up creates a tag for a wine bottle!  It's super simple and convenient!  Just die cut the tag and then decide on which sentiment and sentiment panel you want to add, and you've got yourself a hostess gift all ready to go!!

I used papers from the Bundled Up Project Pantry along with some seam binding ribbon to create my bottle tag.  The sentiment is from the new Wine a Little set.

The next project I have for you uses a few products from the Pockets & Pages line.   I started by creating the tag with the new Label Stacklets 7.  The camera and sentiments on the card are from the Pockets & Pages InstaFun set.  Isn't that little camera and the heart and star elements just the cutest thing ever?  I just LOVE it. . .and I also love the little sentiments.  "selfie", "Smile" and "oh snap". . .so cute!

I used the Pockets & Pages 4x4 set to create the "hashtag" for selfie, and used the "location pointer" as the tag loop.  The arrow is from the Pockets & Pages 3x4 set.  As you can see, you can use the Pockets & Pages line for things other than scrapbook pages!

My last project for today uses a few Pockets & Pages products for an actual scrapbook layout.  The papers I used are from the 'Tis the Season Project Pantry.  I create the title using the Pockets & Pages 3x4 set, the Pockets & Pages 4x6 set, the Bars of the Year set, the Sweet & Simple #s and Label Stacklets 7.  The picture page uses the Sweet & Simple Alpha Upper to spell out "Joy".

I LOVE how quickly pages come together with the Pockets & Pages line of products!  If you notice, the pockets sleeves are different than I used the other day.  The other day, the sleeve had four sections on each side.  Today, the sleeves are full 6x8 sleeves.  All of the different pocket sleeve layouts are available in the 6x8 Variety Pack

I hope you've enjoyed all of the projects this week!  Thank you for stopping by!  Be sure to see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has created for today!  HAPPY SHOPPING!!
