Yo Yo Lovebugs

This was for last week's Color Challenge on SCS, Making Yo Yo Yellow Look Good! We had to use Yo Yo Yellow, Basic Gray and Going Gray. Yo Yo Yellow is a tough color for me. My ink pad looks brand new. . .that's how much I use Yo Yo Yellow! If I need a yellow, I usually grab Summer Sun or More Mustard. . I guess I'm an Earth tone kind of girl! Although, I do like So Saffron. Anyway, here's my attempt at making this color look good! LOL This is the Love Bugs set from Paper Pretties. I'm hoping the Lemon Stickles on the ladybugs helped.

I haven't been around much the last four days or so. My husband and I had a performance on Saturday night, so we've been at rehearsals and then the show. We had to take the kids with us to rehearsals, which was trying at times. My parents kept the girls from Saturday to Sunday, which was a HUGE help! Savannah was disappointed she didn't get to come to the show, though. She and Arwen had a great time at rehearsals dancing along in the audience. It was too cute. Savannah still shows me her "hat and cane dance". :) Hopefully I'll have some more time now that the show is over and I'm back in my routine! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
