Verve October Spotlight Hops - Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of our October Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guests are back for another day of spotlighting our new release! Everything previewed this week is available to order in the Verve shop.

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Angel Voices stamp set and coordinating Angelic Die Set.  If you've come from visiting Marisa, you're in the right place!!  I think this is an adorable stamp set!  I went with clean and simple for my card to really show off how adorable that little angel is!  The border was created with an embossing folder.  I added some Wink of Stella to the angel's wings for some sparkle.  Next on today's hop is Betty!!

Verve's October Spotlight Hops and Happy World Card Making Day!

Welcome to Verve's October Spotlight Hops and happy World Card Making Day! Verve just released three new sets perfect for your fall and winter holiday crafting, and they're all on sale in the Verve shop today. If you've come from visiting Marisa, you're in the right place!!  For my card today, I used the Autumn Blessings set along with the Autumn Thanks Die Set.  I just LOVE the wreath in the set and the coordinating die.  It makes it so easy to create an adorable card!   I used the latest Mojo Monday Sketch as a starting point for my card.  I created the little cluster with the wreath using some of the smaller images in the set. . .the pumpkin and leaves, and finally the die cut "thanks".  Next on today's hop is Betty!  Be sure to check out the Verve Blog for more inspiration and prize info!!

Happy Hello

Hi there!  I have a fun little card to share with you today using alphabet dies.  I used the Chunky Alpha from Taylored Expressions for my card.  I always LOVE the look of using the negative of alphabet dies, so I created a card using that technique.

I started by diecutting "hello" out of some Lollipop cardstock.  I had to run it through twice since I only had one "L" die.  Once I die cut the sentiment, I embossed that piece with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder to give it some interest.  I attached that piece to the black using foam tape.  The flowers were created using the Scribble Flowers Die Set.  To add a little sparkles, I used some sequins from the Sweetheart Sequins.

Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop

The changing colors of autumn is always such a treat. Like a paintbrush came and colored the world. One of my favorite trees around the neighborhood turns a brilliant purple in the fall, and is so beautiful against the blue sky. So while some may find this a wintry inspiration, to me a bit of regal purple and a touch of sky and earth will always be fall. Follow the color pattern, or take your inspiration from the graphic, either way it's sure to be lovely! We can't wait to see what you create!

For my card, I used the colors in the inspiration photo (which I LOVE) along with the Kindness Matters set and Great Kindness and Pottery Die Sets.  The layout came from this week's Mojo Monday Sketch!    Next on today's hop is Christyne!!

BIG Birthday Wish!!

Good morning and Happy Release Day!!  That's right!  All of the new products we've been sharing with you are NOW AVAILABLE in the TE Store!!  I have one more for you today which features the Wish Big Stamp & Die Combo!  Remember, this set is your gift with a purchase of $50 or more!!

I created this little gift box using the Sack It To You Die.  Before assembling the box, I embossing it with the Brick Embossing Folder to give it a wall texture.  I stamped and die cut all of the balloons and then tied some Baker's Twine on them.  "Happy" and "Wish" were stamped in Sugar Cube ink and embossed and then die cut.  Finally, add a handle and some filler along with a little treat or gift and you're all set!!
