Prettie Wednesday

Two weeks ago, Jodi challenged the Prettie Girls to create a card using our favorite embellishment. Since I usually create pretty simple, not heavily embellished cards, my favorite embellishments are probably ribbon and scoring/embossing or paper piercing. I used all three on this card since I just couldn't decide! :) I thought the scoring went well with the basket in the image.

This is actually a sneak peek of one of the new sets being released by Paper Pretties on Saturday, August 1st!! It's called Everyday Picnic. We hope you'll join us for the release party! I'll have more info for you tomorrow!

In the meantime, stop and see what the rest of Prettie Girls created for Jodi's challenge!

SASI Peek

Today I have a little project posted on the Stamp a Sweet Impression (SASI) blog. I'd love it if you'd hop on over and check it out! I hope you like it!

I Love To Read Bookmark

It's been a while since I've made one of these giant paper clip bookmarks and now as Savannah is ready to start kindergarten, she LOVES books and is always making herself bookmarks. I thought I'd make her a "real" bookmark. :)

I used the School For Max set from Stampendous. You can find this set at Stamper's Dream. It's adorable and absolutely perfect for those early school days!

Don't forget to check out the Sales and Specials section! Michelle has lots of stuff in there at great prices! Anytime you're looking for what's new at Stamper's Dream, you can can visit the New Arrivals section. Michelle is always stocking the store with new stuff, so you'll want to check back often!

Thanks for stopping by today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- School For Max (Stampendous); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Melon Mambo (SU); Accessories- giant paperclip, Copic markers;

Miracles

Here's a card I made using the July 20th Key Ingredients and the Faith and Hope stamp set from Taylored Expressions. I cut the large scalloped oval using the Scallop Nestabilities and kept the paper in the die and sponged around the edges with Crushed Curry ink. The scalloped oval chipboard is part of the July 20th Key Ingredients. I inked it up with Tea Leaves VersaMagic ink and framed the sentiment. As a finishing touch, I added some faux stitching along the sides of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you're having a wonderful start to your week! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Faith and Hope (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Tea Leaves (VersaMagic), Crushed Curry (SU), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- July 20th Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions); Accessories- ribbon and chipboard from Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

We've Moved!

It's been a while since I've made a long card. I used to make them a lot more, but I've gotten away from that for some reason. Anyway, I decided to use the Home Sweet Home set from Paper Pretties. As much as I don't like moving personally, I chose to use happy, bright colors rather than colors that show how I really feel about moving! LOL
Today is Thursday, so don't forget that Danielle's Weekly Challenge is posted today! I always like to check out what Danielle has going on! Thanks for stopping by today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Home Sweet Home (Paper Pretties); Paper- Delighted Series (My Mind's Eye); Accessories- Copic markers, Oval and Scallop oval punches (Marvy Uchida); Finished card measures 3"x6"
