I have a card for you today using this week's Mojo Monday Sketch! My card is pretty simple considering I could have added embellishments along the curved line of the sketch. I wanted to make a little boy card. One that could be given for the birth of a new little man, so I wanted it to be less "frilly". I really liked this train paper from Basic Grey. It's from the Oliver Paper Pad.
I stamped, colored and cut out the little monkey from To the Moon and tucked him behind the patterned paper. It looks as if he "ripped" the paper to peek from behind. :) The sentiment is the Smallest Things Plain Jane.
Hope you'll play along with the Mojo Monday Sketch OR a Viva la Verve Challenge if you haven't already! Let me know if you do. . .I'd love to see what you created! Thanks for stopping by today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- To the Moon, Smallest Things Plain Jane (Verve Stamps); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Fresh Snow (PTI); Paper- Oliver Paper Pad (Basic Grey); Accessories- embossing powder, ribbon (SU), white gel pen, paper piercer; Finished card measures 4.25" square
