Hi there! Welcome to the April Sneak Peeks for Taylored Expressions! I can't believe it's April already, but I'm excited to share some new products with you! I have two projects to share today. The first uses the NEW Quilted Cutting Plate!! I am not a quilter myself, but I do love the look and love when that's translated to a card or scrapbook page.
For my card, I used papers from the Double the Joy 6x6 Paper Pack and die cut multiple patterns using the Quilted Cutting Plate. I pieced them together to get my "card quilt" background. The image of the coffee mugs is from the NEW Stitch By Stitch 2 set, and the sentiment is from the NEW A Thousand Stitches set. A couple of other new products I've used on this card are the Little Bits - Needle & Thread and the Little Bits - Buttons. All of these products work together perfectly!

The second project I have to share today uses the NEW Build a Bookmark Die Set. The set comes with multiple pieces with which you can create your own bookmark. I chose to use some of the flowers and butterfly from the set, but there are quite a few other dies to choose from!
I used a sentiment from the NEW Plot Twist set. I thought this sentiment would work well for a bookmark. . .something a person can read everytime they open their book. I created a card using the NEW Cross Stitch Embossing Folder and just added a pocket to the card so that I could slip the bookmark inside. The recipient can just take the bookmark out of the pocket and there's no adhesive removal.

Charmaine your first card is very pretty and I love the second one with the inserted/removable bookmark. Great idea!
Both are great cards. I like these dies and stamps for sewers and am fond of the verse on the bookmark. Clever idea to have the card hold the bookmark...a gift and a card all rolled into one!
Love that quilted cutting plate! Love how you worked the extra elements into the card...very clever!
