July Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop!!

It's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop!

If you came from visiting Betty, you're in the right place!!  For my card today, I used the Happy Place set along with the Classy Label Die.  The medallion stamp in this set reminded me of the pattern in the inspiration photo.  I just LOVE the colors from the inspiration photo and the stripes!  For a little sparkle, I added some Shine Bright Sequins.  Next on today's hop is Laurie!!

Here is a card I made previously using one of my favorites from this list, Mischief Maker - At the Beach.  Isn't she the cutest?  I also used some Little Bits products on this card...Little Bits - Beach Umbrella and Little Bits Sandcastle.  

Another of my favorite lines that is retiring is the Animals in Love Collection.  Here is an old project I created using the Animals in Love - Fish along with the Animals in Love - Sentiments.  I love using these sets for little kid treat packages!

Mojo 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!  Hope you are enjoying today!  I have a card to share that uses this week's Mojo Monday Sketch!!  It's a contest week, too, so there's prizes to be won!!  Head on over to the blog to check it out!!  We'd love to see what you create!!

I used the American Hero set for my card.  I thought that would be appropriate for today!  The papers are from the Summer Nights 6x6 Paper Pack from Taylored Expressions.  I added some Shine Bright Sequins for some extra sparkle.  The sentiment is embossed with some glitter embossing powder and stamped on a piece that was die cut with the Stitched Pennants Die Set.

VLV Happy Graduation

I don't know about you, but we have had a lot of graduations so far this summer.  I always think I have enough cards on hand, but it always seems that they are never for the occasion I need!  LOL  Do any of you experience that?  So, I've had to create a few extra graduation cards to keep up!

I created this card using this week's Viva la Verve Sketch!  I used the Happy Graduation Plain Jane along with the Jotted Heart Die and the From the Heart Die Set.  The papers are from the Summer Fun Collection from Echo Park.  For some sparkle, I added some sequins from the Shine Bright Sequin Mix as well as the Pastel Sequin Mix.
