Salty Kisses

Here's another peek from a set that Our Craft Lounge will be releasing on Friday. It's called Sandy Sunsets. I just LOVE this set. I reverse masked a rectangle around the image and then used the Bouncing Brayer Technique for the "sky". I used my Plain Square Nestabilities to emboss a square around the image. For finishing touches, I added some paper piercings and hemp. If you'd like to see more sneak peeks of sets releasing on Friday, head on over to Cambria's Blog for a list of peekers! Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Sandy Sunsets (Our Craft Lounge); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific); Ink- Caribbean Sea (Kaleidacolor); Accessories- Plain Square and Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), hemp, brayer, paper piercer; Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Prettie Wednesday

Two weeks ago, Danielle challenged the Prettie Girls to create a non-A2 card, meaning anything but 4.25"x5.5". I decided to use my Curved Rectangle Nestabilities to cut out the card base. It measures 5"x3.5". The stamp set I used is a peek of one of the new Sophia's that Paper Pretties will be releasing on Friday, May 1st! Say hello to Lady Liberty. Isn't she sweet?

On Friday May 1st Paper Pretties will be having their monthly Stampin In Your Jammies party!! The party starts at 8pm EST. I'll be issuing a challenge every hour so be sure to come and play along!! Bubbles Happen

My sweet friend Cambria invited me to play with some of their new stamps that are releasing this Friday at Our Craft Lounge. (THANKS, Cami!) Have you seen any of the other peeks? Check out Cami's blog for a list of sneak peekers! :) I am absolutely IN LOVE with this set called Bubbles. How could anybody not love this set!? Savannah, my 5 year old, just giggled when she saw this card. She didn't understand what "Bubbles Happen" meant, but she totally understood the image! LOL She made me laugh out loud, so I explained to her what the sentiment meant. . .and now I'll hear her giggling and then she says "bubbles happen" and giggles some more. LOL Too cute!

I hope you got as much of a tickle from this as I did! Wait until you see the other sets! :) SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Bubbles (Our Craft Lounge); Paper- Paper Salon; Accessories- Copic markers, Dew Drops (The Robin's Nest), border punch (EK Success), Plain and Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), ribbon (May Arts); Finished card measures 4.25" square

You Take the Cake

Here's a "sweet" little card I made using the Tiers of Treats stamp from Stampendous. The sentiment is from the Birthday Cakes clear stamp set from Impression Obsession, but it is currently out of stock. You can find the Tiers of Treats stamp at Stamper's Dream along with lots of NEW Stampendous!

The papers I used are from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack from Die Cut With a View. The ribbon is Pink Grograin from May Arts, also found at Stamper's Dream. I colored the treats using Copic markers and cut the image out using my Plain Oval Nestabilities.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you're having a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Tiers of Treats (Stampendous), Birthday Cakes (Impressions Obsession); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack (DCWV); Accessories- Copic markers, Plain and Scallop Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), pink grosgrain (May Arts); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Clean and Simple Friend

This is a card I made using the Fall To Layout #39 from the Clean & Simple Stamping Blog. I just LOVED the layout. I changed it a bit to fit a stamped image rather than a button. I used the Mother's Day Key Ingredients and Downtown Diva set from Taylored Expressions. The row of piercing along the bottom edge was done using an Ornare template. I liked the look of the scalloped piercings.

This card was so quick and simple to create. . .my favorite kind! :) It's an absolutely beautiful day here today, so I think we'll be spending lots of time outside! I hope you enjoy your day too! Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Downtown Diva (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Burnt Umber (Palette); Paper- Mother's Day Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions); Accessories- Copic markers, piercing template (Ornare), scalloped border punch (EK Success), circle punches and scallop circle punch (SU), ribbon from Mother's Day Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions); Finished card measures 3"x6"

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Tonight is the monthly Blog Hop at Papertrey Ink! The challenge this month was to use one of the My Timeless Templates. I have quite a few of the templates and I just LOVE them all! :) Lauren really does a fantastic job with them and she does an even greater job of making you "need" them when you see her projects with them! LOL

For tonight's Blog Hop, I decided to use the Rounded Wrap Up template. As much as it's difficult to photograph well, I LOVE using acetate for these gift boxes. . .especially when you have colorful, cute things to display inside them. I bought this set of lip balms a while ago at Joann's in the clearance bin, but the packaging they came in wasn't too exciting. I thought making my own packaging with some Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper, acetate and one of my favorite PTI sets, Little Lady, would make these lip balms absolutely adorable. (Since I made the package, my 5 year old has been trying to swipe it!) LOL Berry Sorbet was the perfect match for the already decorated lip balms.

If you're as interested as I am in seeing what everyone else created using the My Timeless Templates, head on over to the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Forum and follow all of the links! Thanks for stopping by and have a great night hopping! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Little Lady (PTI); Ink- Berry Sorbet (PTI), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Bitty Dot Basics (PTI), Certainly Celery (SU), acetate; Accessories- Rounded Wrap Up template, Berry Sorbet ribbon (PTI), hole punch, Dazzling Diamonds glitter wire

Little Things

Here's a card I made for the latest Viva La Verve Challenge. I loved the sketch, and the "twist" was to make a Spring card. . .that's been my inspiration all week! LOL The weather is absolutely beautiful here and it makes me use bright, happy colors for my cards. :)

I used the Petals and Stems set from Verve. The patterned paper is some that I bought at Costco a while ago. There was a Magnolia/Wild Asparagus pack and I still have tons of it! Have you been playing along with the Viva La Verve Sketches? This is the last sketch of the month which means, if you've completed all 5 sketches, be sure and post in the Viva La Verve April Champions Thread in order to be eligible to win! There are lots of beautiful creations in the gallery! Be sure and check them out. . .and good luck if you're entered to win! Thanks for stopping by today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Petals and Stems (Verve Stamps); Ink- Regal Rose, Taken With Teal (SU), Spring Moss, Hibiscus Burst (PTI), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Pink Pirouette (SU), Wild Asparagus; Accessories- circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), ribbon (May Arts), large oval punch (SU), Dew Drops (The Robin's Nest), Dazzling Diamonds glitter (SU); Finished card measures 4.25" square

Weekend Sketch Challenge #78

It's FRIDAY and time for another Weekend Sketch Challenge! This week's sketch is being hosted by Sharon, so head on over to her blog to check out the sketch and play along!

I dug out a little Stampendous Bee image that I've had for a long time and haven't used for a long time! :) It's called Bee Secret. . .soo cute! I paired it up with a sentiment from the Handwritten Notes set from Papertrey Ink. I also used some really wide ribbon that I've had and never used because of how wide it is. It worked well for this card, though.

Be sure and check out what Beate, Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori, MaryJo and Sharon have created using this sketch. I can't wait to see their beautiful creations! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Secret Bee (Stampendous), Handwritten Notes (PTI); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- DCWV, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette (SU), New Leaf (PTI); Accessories- white gel pen, circle punches (SU), Copic markers, ribbon (Darice); Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Spring Flutter

Despite the rainy weather we've been having, I've been inspired to create cards with bright, happy Spring colors! One of the stacks I go to all of the time for such papers is the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack from Die Cut With a View. I just LOVE these papers. I decided to pair this cherry patterned paper with the polka dot pattern for my card using Flutter By from Paper Pretties. When this stamp set was first released, I could not stop using it. It was my absolute favorite. Since lots of other adorable Sophias have been released, this Sophia hasn't seen ink in a while. I thought I'd take care of that! :) I also used the new Blossom Nestabilities that I recently got. I thought they'd be perfect for the Spring feel of this card.

Don't forget that May 1st is our next Prettie Pajama Party! It starts at 8pm EST in the Paper Pretties forums. We'd LOVE for you to join us! Besides the challenges, chatter, and all around fun, we will also be releasing Hola Chica, TWO new Sophias, re-releasing Rainy Day Friend in rubber, and we will have a BRAND new set from a BRAND new artist!! Sneak peeks start on Wednesday April 29th!!

If you'd like to be our next Cutie Pie, you have until Thursday April 30th at 9pmEST to get your entries uploaded to the Cutie Pie gallery at the Paper Pretties website. The winner will not only get to call themselves a Cutie Pie, but they will also receive all the new release stamps!! Can't wait to see your creations! Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Flutter By (Paper Pretties); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack (DCWV), Pink Pirouette (SU); Accessories- wide Regal Rose grosgrain, horizontal slot punch (SU), Cotton Candy Stickles, Blossom Nestabilities, Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Dew Drops (The Robin's Nest), Copic markers; Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Mojo Smile

Here's a sweet little card I made using this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I used the Because of You set from Verve as well as a sentiment from the very first Verve set (and still one of my faves), Thoughtful Florals. Well, actually Thoughtful Florals is a re-vamped (and clear) version of the original set which was Thoughful Phrases. I still remember stalking the website waiting for Thoughtful Phrases to be available for purchase! LOL I COULD NOT wait. . .and as I said, it is STILL one of my very favorite Verve sets. :) I punched the butterfly out using the Martha Stewart punch and then covered it in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The patterned papers are from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack from Die Cut With a View. Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Thoughtful Florals, Because of You (Verve Stamps); Ink- VersaMagic, Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack (DCWV), Regal Rose (SU); New Leaf (PTI); Accessories- butterfly punch, border punch (Martha Stewart), grosgrain, white gel pen, paper piercer, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (SU); Finished card measures 4.25" square

Prettie Wednesday

Two weeks ago, Jana challenged the Prettie Girls to Try a New Technique. I decided on using the Salted Background Technique with my Rainy Day Friends set from Paper Pretties. I LOVE the way it turned out, I only wish I would have used lighter colors for the background instead of adding Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango. They came out so dark. It still works, but next time I'll go for more of a pastel palette. This card was definitely inspired by all of the rain we've had lately. :)

Be sure and check out what the rest of the Prettie Girls created for this challenge.

Celebrate the Day

Sunday was my little cousin's birthday, so I thought I'd make her a bright, fun card. This uses the Birthday Frames set from Hero Arts. You can find it at Stamper's Dream.

It was a lot of fun to color this cupcake. You can't tell in the picture, but I added some Stardust Stickles to the "icing" and it makes it nice and sparkly. :) The paper is from the Nana's KIDS Stack from Die Cut With a View. It's one of my favorite paper stacks. I find myself using it all of the time!

You can find lots of other ADORABLE Hero Arts Clear stamps at Stamper's Dream! Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day! New Verve!

In case you missed the release party last night, there is new Verve available! I think you'll LOVE the new sets and Plain Janes, so if you haven't seen them, head on over to Verve and check them out!

Here's a card I made using the Medallion Plain Jane and a sentiment from Circular Sayings. The rhinestone in the middle of the medallion was clear, but I colored it with a Copic markers to match the card. I LOVE being able to do that! The Divas have loaded up the gallery with some fabulous eye candy too! You'll definitely want to check out the gallery!

From the Sweet Shoppe

Today I'm the featured designer in the Taylored Expressions Newsletter. Maybe you saw this project in the newsletter. If you're not signed up for the newsletter, you can do that from the Taylored Expressions Homepage! The newsletter is packed full of the latest and greatest at Taylored Expressions as well as a feature on one of the designers from the Baker's Dozen! You won't want to miss all of the deals and the "get to know you" with the design team!

For my project today, I used just the base template from Lauren's Lollipop Along My Timeless Template using some acetate. I wanted to create a "designer" cupcake carrier from the Sweet Shoppe down on Main Street in Cuppieville! (wink) Using the base template, I was able to fit two mini cupcakes in the carrier. Before assembling the box, I stamped flowers from the Downtown Diva set on the acetate. I made a tray to hold the cupcakes using a 3"x5" piece of cardstock and scoring at 1/2" on each side. Then I used my Plain Circle Nestabilities to cut out circles to fit the mini cupcakes. Lastly, I stamped the Sweet Shoppe image and punched out a portion for the "handle". It makes an adorable little treat box! It would even look cute with little cupcake candles that are about the same size. . .and then you wouldn't be tempted to eat the contents! LOL I hope you've enjoyed my project! Thanks for visiting! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Downtown Diva (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Whisper White Craft (SU), Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Regal Rose, Basic Black (SU), acetate; Accessories- clear embossing powder, Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Circle punch (SU), Scallop circle punch (Marvy Uchida), Copic markers, flowers and brads from Easter Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions), white organdy ribbon (Darice), Lollipop Along My Timeless Template (PTI).

Make A Splash

I've been using this stamp quite a bit lately, huh? Do you think it's because I'm ready for the summer? :) I am SO ready! This card was for one of the challenges from our last Prettie Pajama Party. The challenge was to make a card using the clothes you're wearing while making it for inspiration! Nothing like making people have to "dress up" in order to stamp! LOL I used the Make a Splash set from Paper Pretties, the May Stamp of the Month.

At the time I made this card, I was wearing my favorite maternity shirt. . .yes, I said maternity! :) When I posted this card the night of the pajama party, I realized that I never told anyone that I was pregnant. We're expecting baby #4 in July! Maybe that's another reason I'm so ready for summer to be here! :)

Don't forget to check out the Paper Clip for all of the latest Paper Pretties news and challenges! Today is Thursday, so Danielle will have another fabulous challenge posted! Be sure and check it out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Happy Birthday, Jana!

Two weeks ago I challenged the Prettie Girls to choose a bright, fun summer palette of colors and make a card. Red, white and black make me think of watermelon, picnics and, of course, ladybugs. I took my summer palette of colors and made a birthday card for our Prettie Jana!

Happy Birthday, Jana! Hope you have a wonderful day! Sending you BIG HUGS!

The hop started at Christie's blog, so if you haven't been there yet, head on over! From here, the next blog stop on Jana's birthday celebration is Jodi! We hope you'll follow along on Jana's Birthday Blog Hop and end at Jana's blog sending her some birthday love! Thanks for stopping by! Hey There, Sunshine!

If you haven't visited the Verve Blog lately, sneak peeks started today of the sets being released this Friday, April 17th! Come join us in the Verve forum on SCS at 9pm EST for the release party! Today's peeks are of the FOUR new Plain Janes that will be released! I think you're going to love them, so head on over to check them out and enter to win them! This is my favorite of the Plain Janes! I know I'll use this "Hey there, Sunshine" sentiment a lot. My all-time favorite song is "You Are My Sunshine" and it's a song I sing regularly to my kids. That alone makes it a perfect sentiment for my stamp collection! I used another set (that will be previewed tomorrow on the Verve Blog) to create the background for this card.

There are also LOTS of ways to win some Verve stamps! Check out THIS POST and THIS POST to find out all of the details! Good luck and thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Sunshine Plain Jane, Wishful Elegance (Verve Stamps); Ink- Summer Sunrise (PTI), Whisper White Craft (SU), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Summer Sunrise (PTI), Basic Black (SU); Accessories- black organdy ribbon (Darice), scallop border punch (EK Success), Butterfly punch (Martha Stewart); Finished card measures 3"x6"

Fresh Happy Birthday

Here's a clean, fresh card I made using the Fresh Flowers set from Taylored Expressions. I decided to use the various flowers in the set as if they were growing from the ground rather than cut and in a vase. For the few sprigs of grass, I used the opposite end of the biggest flower of this bunch. I added some Parisian Mist Glitter from the March 20th Key Ingredients Kit to the leaves of the flowers. The card is fresh, springy and hopefully will make the recipient smile! Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Fresh Flowers (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Choice White (Taylored Expressions), Basic Black (SU), patterned paper from the March Key Ingredients Kit (Taylored Expressions); Accessories- border punch (Fiskars), paper piercer, ribbon from Mother's Day Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions), Parisian Mist glitter from March Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions), Copic markers; Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Zoo

Here's a quick and simple little card I made using the Zoo Animals stamp set from Maya Road. Isn't that zebra just too cute? You can find this set at Stamper's Dream. I forgot about this paper I had from the All Dressed Up Stack from Die Cut With a View. What a perfect fit! This stamp set would be adorable for a baby scrapbook or board book. The animals are so cute and playful.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter yesterday. We did. The kids had a lot of fun but were tired by the time we got home. . .not to mention mommy and daddy! :) It's taken me a little more time to get moving this morning! I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of the kids from yesterday! Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Zoo Animals (Maya Road); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific), Basic Black (SU), All Dressed Up Stack (DCWV); Accessories- zig zag punch (EK Success), Plain Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), paper piercer, brads (Making Memories); Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Weekend Sketch Challenge #76

It's time for another Weekend Sketch Challenge! This week, the sketch challenge is being hosted by Laurie. Head on over to her blog to see the sketch and play along!

Here's what I came up with for the sketch. I used the Beautiful Kindness set from Verve. I decided to use all soft colors for my card. I didn't even use black for the sentiment! The butterfly is decorated with Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and the scalloped frame with White Opal Liquid Pearls. The paper is all from the Easter Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I added a little faux stitching because I couldn't help myself. LOL

Be sure to stop and see the gorgeous creations of Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori and Sharon using today's sketch. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Beautiful Kindness (Verve Stamps); Ink- Pink Petunia, Aegean Blue (VersaMagic); Paper- Easter Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions); Accessories- Jumbo circle and Mega Scallop Circle punches (Marvy Uchida), Taylor's Tiny Twinkles (Taylored Expressions), White Opal Liquid Pearls, paper piercer, white gel pen, polka dot organdy ribbon (PTI); Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Hey Good Lookin'!

At our last Prettie Pajama Party, one of the challenges I issued was to create a card with a fancy or fun fold. I decided to make the Cami Tri-fold Card. It has been a while since I made one of these and I just LOVE them! I used the Sweets For the Sweet set from Paper Pretties. I used some of the retired Apple Cider Designer Paper from Stampin' Up. I added some Liquid Pearls in Opal around the scalloped frame. I thought it gave the card a very feminine feel. The right edge of the card is stamped with a chocolate chip cookie stamp that is also in the set.

Don't forget to check out the Paper Clip for the latest Paper Pretties news, challenges or Cards of the Week! Today's Thursday, so that means Danielle will post a fabulous new challenge! Head on over and check it out! We hope you'll play along! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Prettie Wednesday

Two weeks ago, Julie challenged the Prettie Girls with a sketch! Sketches are STILL my favorite type of challenge. I love to see how different people interpret the same sketch, AND it gives me a starting point for my own card!
I used Make a Splash Sophia, the brand new Stamp of the Month at Paper Pretties. I used some paper from the Romani line by Basic Grey.

Be sure to stop by and see what the other Prettie Girls came up with for this sketch!

Ruff Day?

Here's a very simple card using an image that I think is just hilarious! It's from the Patterned Pets set by Inkadinkado. I paired it with a sentiment I created using the JustRite Harmony Rectanglar Stamper set with the Brayton Font. I just LOVE the sentiment with the dog's face. . .it makes me laugh! The patterned paper is from the Penny Lane Free Bird Paper Pack from My Mind's Eye. All of these products are available at Stamper's Dream.

If you're having a bad day today, hopefully this card will put a smile on your face too! Thanks for stopping by! Taylored Expressions RELEASE DAY!

Right now you can purchase both new release sets from Taylored Expressions! For today's projects, I used the Fresh Flowers set from the Whimsical Wishes line. It is PERFECT for Mother's Day as well as friendship, love and just everyday! I know you'll love this set as much as I do.

I made a little Mother's Day package for a friend. It contains a card, a little box (using the Square Self-Closing Favor Box) that contains a little terra cotta planter with soil, seed and directions inside and a bookmark to go along with a devotional book. Most of the papers are from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients Kit, except for the "red" which came from the March Key Ingredients Kit.

Don't forget to stop by and see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has cooked up for today's release!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek - Day 2

Here's a sneak peek of the second set that will be released at Taylored Expressions TOMORROW, April 5th! It's called Downtown Diva. Isn't it adorable? Wait until you see the whole thing!

The first thing I did with my card was cut the little shopping Cuppies out of one image to put them into this one. I LOVED the little line of shops and thought the Cuppies would look perfect walking down the street of shops! :) After I finished the card, I decided I had to make a shopping bag exclusive to one of the shops they visited! This bag, complete with coordinating tissue paper, is exclusive to the Dowtown Diva Boutique on Main Street in Cuppieville! LOL

I modified the 2-5-7-10 Box Tutorial on SCS a bit to create the shopping bag. For one, I cut off the top portion so the bag would be open, then I used a Jumbo Circle punch to cut out the sides. I added some 12 gauge floral wire by the circle cut outs to create "designer handles." The boutique shopping bag is perfect for a gift of some "fancy jewelry" or anything else that might have a "boutique" feel. All of the products used (except for the wire) is from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients.

Be sure and stop to see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has created with the Downtown Diva set! I'm sure you'll LOVE every single one of them!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek - Day 1

Here's a sneak peek of one of the new sets being released at Taylored Expressions on Sunday, April 5th! It's called Fresh Flowers and it's from the Whimsical Wishes line! This set is absolutely perfect for Mother's Day but also works well for thank you, birthday and just because cards too! The card I made is just to say "I Love You". I used paper and embellishments from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients. I stamped and colored the window and window box and mounted them with foam tape onto the card. I added some Baby Pink and Pale Green Flower Soft over the window box for some flowers. It adds such a neat touch when you don't have stamped flowers there!

The neat thing about this card is that you can actually open the windows to reveal a sweet surprise! Since I've made the card, I've had it sitting on my desk with the "windows" open. . .it's like a little picture frame. :)

Don't forget to stop by and see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has cooked up for today! I know they'll all be amazing projects!

Weekend Sketch Challenge #75

It's Friday and you know what that means. . .time for another Weekend Sketch Challenge! This week's wonderful sketch is hosted by Mary Jo! Head on over to her blog to check out the sketch!

Instead of a card, I was inspired to make a scrapbook page today. I never make scrapbook pages of my hubby and me. In fact, since we've had kids we have very few pictures taken of just the two of us! So I thought I'd start to change that. :) I used the Delicate Dots Designer Paper from Sale-a-bration along with some Certainly Celery, So Saffron and New Leaf (from Papertrey Ink). I also used some new JustRite Products! I used the Vertical Stamper Set with the Times New Roman Lowercase Font. "Dream" is from the Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Ensemble. You can find all of these JustRite products and more at Stamper's Dream!

Don't forget to check out what Beate, Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori, MaryJo and Sharon have created using today's sketch! I can't wait to see their fabulous creations! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Vertical Stamper Set, Times New Roman Lowercase Font, Special Occasions Font, Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Ensemble (JustRite); Ink- Summer Sunrise, New Leaf (PTI); Paper- Delicate Dots DS, So Saffron, Certainly Celery (SU), New Leaf (PTI); Accessories- Certainly Celery ribbon (SU), Plain Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), paper piercer, Certainly Celery marker; Finished page measures 5"x7"

Prettie Easter Treat

Last night was our Prettie Pajama Party at Paper Pretties and one of the challenges I issued was to make an Easter Treat. Since one of the new sets that was released was the Right On Par golfer set, I thought I'd make an Easter treat for a golfer! My original idea was to make an acetate treat box and fill it with chocolate golf balls. . .you know the kind that the foil wrappers look like golf balls? Well, I didn't have any of those, so I came up with this idea with some things my husband had here at home. I made an Easter Bunny out of 2 golf balls and some googly eyes! I had to make the acetate box a little taller than the template to fit the bunny, ears and all. The ears were made using the small oval punch from Stampin' Up and just coloring in the centers. I thought it would make a cute little treat for a golfer.

My husband informed me, though, that the pink shirt was okay (as I KNOW my husband used to wear pink Polo shirts), but the pink shoes was going too far! LOL Oh well. . .I couldn't mess up my color scheme with brown shoes! :)

If you haven't checked out the newest releases at Paper Pretties, head on over! Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Right On Par (Paper Pretties); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific), acetate; Accessories- Copic markers, small and large oval punches (SU), googly eyes, glue dots

Prettie Wednesday

Two weeks ago, Frances challenged the Prettie Girls to create an ATC. I made mine with the May Stamp of Month Club stamp from Paper Pretties. . .Splish Splash Sophia! Isn't she adorable? Every time I create something with her, my daughter asks if that's her. LOL

For my ATC, I used the Creative Memories Bubblemaker punch. It's been a while since I used that and I thought it would be perfect with this image.

Make sure you stop to see what the rest of the Prettie Girls have created for today's challenge:

Christi Thorsen
Danielle Lounds
Frances Byrne
Jackie Pedro
Jackie Rakoski
Jana Weaver
Jessica Diedrich
Jessie Rone
Jodi Collins
