Besides the challenge, chatter, and all around fun, we will also be releasing Make a Splash Sophia and introducing our new Stamp Of The Month. . .another Sophia we think you'll just LOVE!
For my card today, I used Make a Splash Sophia. The card is super simple. I added some interest with a paper pierced box around Sophia and 3 rhinestones. I wanted a little more green on the card, so I added the small scalloped piece to the bottom. We hope you'll come and party with us tomorrow night! Even if you can't stay long, just stop by and say hello! Hope to see you there!! Thanks for stopping by today. SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Make a Splash Sophia (Paper Pretties); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific), New Leaf (PTI); Accessories- Copic markers, paper piercer, rhinestones (Darice), scalloped border punch (EK Success); Finished card measures 4.25" square

Happy Mail!
This first card is from Pam Speidel at Stamping with Serendipity. Pam is SUCH a sweetheart and is always leaving such sweet, supportive comments. A visit to her blog ALWAYS makes me smile! She always posts such beautiful and HAPPY creations! Thank you, Pam for this happy, happy card using one of my favorite characters! :)
The second card I received is from Denise at the The Paper Landscaper. Denise is another one who ALWAYS leaves such sweet, supportive comments. . .and every day too! I don't know how she does it AND creates such gorgeous cards! I adored this card on her blog and the next thing I knew, it was in my mailbox! Thank you, Denise, for sending me this card. . .I just LOVE it!
The last piece of happy mail I received was from fellow Prettie Girl Danielle Lounds. Danielle made this box and posted it on her blog a while ago. I told her how much I LOVED the box and how she used Sophia Ballerina. Not only did I get the box in the mail, but it was filled with some gorgeous ribbon! I cannot wait to use it! Thank you so much, Danielle, for being so thoughtful! I LOVE the box and the ribbon!

Cheerful Wishes
Here's a card I made using Taylor's latest Cupcake Challenge. I used the Doctor's Orders set from Taylored Expressions along with the May 20th Key Ingredients.
I colored in the sick Cuppie with Copic markers and added a couple of Dew Drops and some coordinating ribbon from the KI kit. The card came together pretty quickly using the Key Ingredients kit AND the sketch. All I had to decide was which patterned papers, images and embellishments to use. Simple! :)
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by to visit today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Doctor's Orders (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- May 20th Key Ingredients Kit (Taylored Expressions); Accessories- ribbon, Dew Drops from May Key Ingredients Kit (Taylored Expressions), Copic markers; Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Taylored Expressions Spring Spectacular!
Taylor has done it again! You have to check out the fabulous Spring Spectacular Key Ingredients Kits being offered in limited quantities at a spectacular discount ($12.95)! Today my projects feature the Delighted kit. I found this kit really fun to play with because I've never used a kit like this before. I usually always stamp and I didn't stamp much at all with these projects. There are so many different elements in the kit that you don't even have to pull out your stamps! There are die cuts that have sentiments on them as well as acetate layovers. There are SO many elements to work with and you can create so many cards with the kit contents! What's even better is that each kit will include a full color inspiration sheet with 6 samples created by members of the Baker's Dozen!
For my first card, I used one of the acetate layovers and placed it over a window I punched in the card so you get a little peek into the card. The sentiment is one of the die cuts that come in the set. I added a little coordinating ribbon (also in the kit) and finished!
The second card also uses a die cut from the kit. I did stamp the "sunshine" sentiment on the little tab (also a die cut in the kit), but that is the only stamping I did on my 3 projects!
For my third project, I created a scrapbook page. I saw this die cut sentiment with the frame and had the PERFECT picture of my daughter Arwen to add to it. I just added some faux stitching and ribbon and was finished in minutes!
The Key Ingredients Kits really are a great and simple way to create coordinating cards and projects in a matter of minutes. You don't have to think about pairing papers and ribbons because it's all done for you! If you'd like to give them a try, head on over to Taylored Expressions because these particular kits are only available for a limited time!

Prettie Wednesday
Two weeks ago, Jackie challenged the Prettie Girls to create a card using white on white. You can't see it very well in the picture, but the layer on top of the white card base is actually an embossed piece of white cardstock from the Embossed Stack by Die Cut With a View. Give Thanks Sophia's dress is also paper pieced with the same paper. Give Thanks Sophia is the June Stamp of the Month at Paper Pretties.
Be sure and check out what the rest of the Prettie Girls created for this great challenge!

Happy Summer
I hope you all had a wonderful a weekend as I did. The weather was absolutely beautiful! I just LOVE summer. . .it's my favorite season. I love being able to wear shorts and lighter clothing, no coats or jackets. . .especially where the kids are concerned. They're so much easier to dress in the summer, aren't they? :)
The warm, beautiful weather this weekend inspired my card for today. Light, summery colors, sunflowers and ladybugs all mean summer to me. I used the Sunny Window cling stamp from Stampendous and the sentiment is from the Happy Greetings Sparkles Clear set by Hero Arts. I used the Large Labels Nestabilities from Spellbinders for matting the focal image and the patterned paper is from the Just Chillin' Girl Paper pad from Making Memories. All of these products can be found at Stamper's Dream. Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day! Earlier this week, Fabre from Cards For Heroes contacted me asking if I'd be interested in being part of their Memorial Day Blog Hop. Would I? OF COURSE! I so appreciate everything that those in the military and their families sacrifice for my freedom. Cards For Heroes collects and sends blank greeting cards to those serving in our Armed Forces so that they can send cards home to their families and loved ones as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them. The card I posted is a part of the donation I am sending to Cards For Heroes.
The next stop on your hop is Charlotte at Stamping Is My Therapy. Charlotte is from Colorado Springs and has a beautiful card posted for today's hop as well as some blog candy! We've Moved!
Here's a card I made for our last Prettie Pajama Party challenge at Paper Pretties. It was a sketch challenge. I used the Home Sweet Home set. I paired it with this neat paper that was in the Summer Stack by Die Cut With a View. I thought the paper went well with the boxes images from the set.

If you want to know about the latest happenings at Paper Pretties, the Paper Clip is the place to find it! Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day! A Dreamy Challenge
It's time for another Dreamy Challenge over at Stamper's Dream. This month's challenge was a color challenge with some bling and texture. The colors were Prismatic colors Blush Red Dark, Island Mist Medium, Birchtone Light and accent with either Suede Brown Dark or Ivory. The compatible SU colors are Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red and Sahara Sand.
I letterpressed (meaning I covered the template in Whisper White Craft ink and then ran it through the Cuttlebug to emboss) using the Paisley Impressabilities template on my Island Mist Medium cardstock. I think it gives such a neat look! The "bling" I used was added to the tree in the form of "apples" or "cherries". . .whichever you'd prefer. The stamp set I used is Swing Set from Flourishes. All of these products can be found at Stamper's Dream.
We'd LOVE for you to play along in this challenge! Please feel free to use colors that are similar, along with some texture and bling! Michelle is giving away some Dreamy Treats to a lucky winner, so be sure to post a link to your creation in the comments of her post to be eligible! If you upload to SCS, please use keyword SDDC7.
I can't wait to see what the rest of the Dream Team came up with for this challenge:
Cammie
Denise
Kimberly
Laurie
Michelle
Tosha

Taylored Expressions May 20th Key Ingredients
It's time for another Key Ingredients Subscription Release at Taylored Expressions! You can read more about the Key Ingredient Subscriptions on THIS POST.
This month, Taylor challenged the Baker's Dozen to create versatile all-occasion cards without a sentiment on the front. We were required to add stitching, either faux or real. Faux stitching is my favorite! :) I made a set of four all-occasion cards along with a little tote to hold them. What card set would be complete without a holder of some sort, right?
For the first card, I used an image from the A Year of Sweets 2 set.
The second card uses an image from the Fresh Flowers set. The image was stamped on the inside of the card and a window was punched on the front and framed with a scallop circle.
The third card uses an image from the Downtown Diva set.
The last card uses an image from the Sweet Celebration set. I thought it would be perfect for any kind of party.
For the tote, I used a piece of 8.5"x11 cardstock and scored along the 11" sides at 4.5" from each end. Then I scored along the 8.5" sides at 1.25" from each end. I attached the handle with brads and added some ribbon across the front of the tote.
All four cards AND the tote were created using the May 20th Key Ingredients Subscription Kit and I still have TONS left in my kit! The other great thing is that everything coordinates perfectly! I didn't really have to think about anything but which stamps I wanted to use or the layouts of the cards. Be sure and check out what the rest of the Baker's Dozen created for the challenge:
Ana Wohlfahrt
Donna Baker
Jodi Collins
Karen Giron
Laura Fredrickson
Taylor VanBruggen
You may also want to check out the TE Favor Box Sampler! It's a great special that Taylor is running now through 5/24! If you like the favor boxes that Taylored Expressions offers, this is your chance to try a variety of them at a discounted price!

Springtime Bling
Here's some Spring bling to brighten your day! I used the Hello Spring set from Our Craft Lounge and coated the flowers with some Rockin' Pink Sparkly Fluff, also from Our Craft Lounge. The patterned paper is from the Artsy-Licious Bloom line from Chatterbox. The Rose ribbon is May Arts. All of these products can be found at Stamper's Dream.
I added some paper piercings and used a Mega Circle punch to "cut out" a space for the curved sentiment. Finally, I added a scalloped border using a punch from EK Success. Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you're having a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Hello Spring (Our Craft Lounge); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific), Artsy-Licious Bloom (Chatterbox); Accessories- paper piercer, Mega Circle punch (Marvy Uchida), border punch (EK Success), Sparkly Fluff (Our Craft Lounge), ribbon (May Arts), bling; Finished card measures 4.25" square

Prettie Wednesday
Two weeks ago, Jackie challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card using a dark and light shade of our favorite color. Well, my favorite colors (as far as stamping) change all of the time. I have LOVED Tangerine Tango since it came out, so I decided to go with that. I used Groovy Guava as the "lighter shade". It looked close enough to me! :)
I used the Home Sweet Home set from Paper Pretties. Coloring the building in a Groovy Guava reminded me of a nice, sunny, warm place to live. I used the Spots 'n Dots Cuttlebug folder on the Groovy Guava cardstock. Don't forget to check out what the other Prettie Girls have come up with for this challenge:
Christi Thorsen
Danielle Lounds
Frances Byrne
Jackie Pedro
Jackie Rakoski
Jana Weaver
Jessica Diedrich
Jessie Rone
Jodi Collins

Happy Spring
Due to all of the rain we've been having lately, I thought this card would be appropriate! :) The image is Shower Chick from Stampendous and the sentiment is from the Happy Greetings Sparkle Clear set from Hero Arts. Both of these sets as well as the May Arts ribbon and Sparkly Fluff (I used Lemon Drop Yellow) can be found at Stamper's Dream. The little flower in her hair is also from the Happy Greetings Sparkle Clear set. It fit perfectly over the stamped flower. The chick looks so fluffy in real life and the sparkles in the fluff add that little adorable "extra". . .almost like glistening rain drops! :)

Weekend Sketch Challenge #80
It's time for another Weekend Sketch Challenge! Today's hostess is Cambria, so head on over to her blog to see the sketch and play along!
I just recently got this adorable Stampendous Cling image called Smile Curve. You can find it at Stamper's Dream along with the patterned paper Just Chillin' Girl from Making Memories. I stamped the image and then cut it out with my Plain Circle Nestabilities and framed it with the Blossom Nestabilities. I colored in the smiley face with Copic markers and added some highlights with a white gel pen. Does't that image just make you smile?
Make sure you stop and see what fabulous creations Beate, Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori and Sharon have for you! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Prettie Wednesday
Two weeks ago, Jessie challenged the Prettie Girls to "make it new" by using a Paper Pretties stamp set that we haven't used in a long while. This was it for me! I LOVED the Surf's Up set when it came out last year, but I haven't used it since! I was very happy to bring surfin' Snowflake out again. :) I can't wait to see what the other Pretties made new again!

Taylored Expressions RELEASE DAY!
It's finally Release Day at Taylored Expressions, which means you can purchase these sets as well as the Father's Day Key Ingredients or Boys Will Be Boys Bundle RIGHT NOW!
For today's projects, I have three cards for you! They are all using the Boys Will Be Boys set in the Whimsical Wishes line. Taylor is offering the Boys Will Be Boys Bundle which includes some charms AND some sheets of metal. You can read more about the bundle on THIS POST. When I saw the metal, the first thing I thought about was my husband's dream Stainless Steel grill! :) I stamped the grill on the metal and cut out just the drum part. I would say I paper-pieced, but I guess the correct term would be "metal-pieced". :) The rest of the grill was coloring using Copic markers and Spica Glitter pens. I hung the little spatula charm from the ribbon. The paper and ribbon are from the Father's Day Key Ingredients. I used the Curved Rectangle Nestabilities for the focal image.
For the next card, I made it very simple. I had intended to use the image of ties that is in the set, but once I created my "shirt", it seemed more appropriate to just use the sentiment. . .especially since there was no tie on the shirt! A little paper piercing and some buttons from the Father's Day Key Ingredients made this card come together quickly.
The last card uses the metal along with the screw brads. I thought these would go well with the airplane pattern paper. I used the Labels 1 Nestabilities for the boots image and sentiment. All paper and embellishments are from the Father's Day Key Ingredients.
Make sure you stop to see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has in store for you today!

JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream!
It's JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream! All this week, the Dream Team is featuring the newest releases from JustRite Stampers! Here's the schedule for this week so you can check out the wonderful creations!
For my creation, I used the Tiny Words and Centers set. I decided to create something that my daughter Savannah would LOVE. . .a Top Secret Notebook! :) Hidden behind the Top Secret button (and attached with hemp) is her "decoder". I made it by brayering Pure Poppy ink over acetate and punching it out with the scallop circle punch. To keep the ink from being smeared, I punched out another piece of acetate to place over the wet ink and sandwiched them both between two black scallop pieces.
Remember these "decoder" things when you were a kid? I always remember there being a busy pattern that hid the words. The busiest background pattern I had that I thought would work was from one of my Verve sets, Wishful Elegance. I used the Harmony Rectangle Stamper to stamp "Savannah's, Keep Out" in light blue ink within the busy pattern. In order to see the "secret words", you have to use the "decoder" which blocks out the red pattern so that all you see are the words! (you may have to click on the photos to see an enlarged version so you can actually read the words!) Savannah LOVES it! She thinks it's magic! LOL Be sure to stop and see what Tosha , Cammie , Michelle have for you today! I'm sure you'll LOVE their projects. . .I know I always do!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a GREAT day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Tiny Words and Centers set, Harmony Rectangle Stamper (JustRite Stampers), Wishful Elegance (Verve Stamps); Ink- Pure Poppy (PTI), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Pure Poppy (PTI), Basic Black (SU), acetate; Accessories- Circle and scallop circle punches (SU), Bind It All (Zutter), hemp
