TESC Laugh
I know I have been missing in action lately. We are moving, so my posts will be a sparse until our move is finished. In some down time between packing boxes, I decided to use one of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge sketches to create a card. If you haven't heard, Taylor announced the end of the TESC. She's going out with a bang by havingt FOUR different sketches and you can use them all or just the one or two you'd like! You can read all of the info by following the link above.
I used the TESC159 for my card along with the Oops a Daisy set and Oops a Daisy Dies. I turned the sketch on its side to fit the image. The paper is from the Summer Fresh Collection from Simple Stories and I LOVE it! I also used the Grass Border Die along with some of my favorite ribbon from the TE store!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to be posting more regularly soon! Have a wonderful day!

Mojo Birthday Wishes
I am LOVING this beautiful weather we've been having. I love it so much, I had to pull out my Summer Days Collection from Echo Park! :) I love all of the bright, happy colors and patterns. I started out using this week's Mojo Monday Sketch for my card. I used the Making a Statement set from Verve to make a happy birthday card.
I stamped the sentiment and then die cut some flowers using the coordinating Loopy Blooms Die Set. I added a little stitching here and there and some bling into the centers of the flowers. I also drew a border on the sentiment panel with a black pen and ruler.
This is the last day of school before the long weekend! We're really looking forward to the time off. Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy YOUR weekend!! Crafty Friends Challenge #4 - Anything But a Card
Happy Sunday! Today starts a new challenge at Crafty Friends Challenges. Heather challenged us to create Anything But a Card. We hope you'll come play along! Follow the link and post your creations under the challenge.
I decided to create a little basket. I used the Favor It Box 2 Die from Papertrey Ink along with the Happy Trails stamp set and Happy Trails Die. For the papers, I used the London Market Project Pantry from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sentiment and cut it into a banner. I stamped the "trail" onto the box and mounted the sentiment over it. I die cut the butterfly and then stamped it in Scarlet Jewel ink and covered it in glitter. The butterfly was mounted to the card with foam tape and then pearls were added. I added some filler to the box and it's ready to add that little gift for someone special!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Happy Trails (PTI); Ink- Scarlet Jewel (PTI), Walnut Stain Distress (Ranger); Paper- London Market Project Pantry (Taylored Expressions); Accessories- Favor It Box 2 Die, Happy Trails Die (PTI);

Mr. & Mrs.
This weekend, we are going to a wedding and I needed a card for the occasion. I decided to start with the Royal Digs set from Taylored Expressions. I took some Choice Snow White Cardstock and the Damask side of the Houndstooth/Damask Impression Plate and I letterpressed the cardstock. I inked the damask side up with some cream ink, placed the white cardstock on top and ran it through my Cuttlebug. I LOVE the look it gives. . .almost like I used a material for the background.
Next I punched a circle and stamped the Mr. & Mrs and used my ScorBug for the embossed line underneath the sentiment. I mounted the circle on a die cut Layering Doily Die Medium with foam tape. Then I took cream cardstock and pale pink cardstock and die cut the heart from Hearts a Plenty out of both and then pieced the opposing colors together. I adhered the completed heart onto the white circle with foam tape. I used a Cream Pearl Pen to add "pearls" onto each heart on the doily die cut. I tied some White/Light Pink Swirl Organdy Ribbon around the card and added a heart stick pin in the knot. The finishing touch was the stitching around the border of the card.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a GREAT weekend! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Royal Digs (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine), cream; Paper- Choice Snow White (Taylored Expressions), Blushing Bride (SU); Accessories- Houndstooth/Damask Impression Plate, Hearts a Plenty Die Set, Layering Doily Die Medium, ribbon (Taylored Expressions), stick pin, Cream Pearl Pen; Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Mojo Dream
It's been a few days since I've posted. Things have been a little crazy around here, so I haven't been able to stamp. Today, I found some time and decided to participate in the latest Mojo Monday Sketch. I flipped the panel on my card because I liked the butterfly at the bottom rather than at the top of the circle. I used the butterfly from the Blue Skies set along with the All AFlutter Die Set. The sentiment is from the Believe set.
I added some Diamond Stickles to the popped up, die cut butterfly. The circular panel was die cut with Plain Circle Nestabilities and then sponged around the edge while still in the die. The patterned paper is from the Colorwheel Collection from Doodlebug. After assembling the pieces of the card, I decided to use my Scor-Buddy and Scor-Bug to create the embossing "stitching" along the top and bottom of the card.
If you're looking for a starting point for a card, this Mojo Monday sketch is a great one! Come play along! Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Blue Skies, Believe (Verve Stamps); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine), Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise (PTI); Paper- Colorwheel Collection (Doodlebug); Accessories- All AFlutter Die Set (Verve Stamps), Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Diamond Stickles (Ranger), Scor-Bug (ScorPal); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"
