Verve's March Spotlight Hops - Day 2

Verve's March Spotlight Hops - Day 1

Welcome to Verve's March Spotlight Hops!  It's an exciting day as there's a whole bunch of new Verve in the store this morning! 5 beautiful new sets, 6 die sets and a plain jane just released and they're all available to order right now. Throughout the next week we'll be spotlighting each of the new sets with a hop to show you just how versatile these sets are.

Today the Divas and special guests are showing you their first projects with the new release. And it's designer's choice, so you might just sneak a peek at a whole bunch of must-haves!

If you've just come from Betty's Blog, you're in the right place!!  I used the Rise Above set with the coordinating Partly Cloudy Die Set, as well as the stitched circle from the Springtime Stitches die set.  I just LOVE the sunshine and anything having the "you are my sunshine" sentiment, is a must have for me!!  I added some sparkle with some gold glitter cardstock and Shine Bright Sequins!!

Taylored Expressions RELEASE DAY: So Grumpy!!

Today's the day that all of the new release products are available in the TE Store!!  Everything we've been sharing with you over the last few days is NOW AVAILABLE!!  I have one more project today!  It uses the NEW Grown Up Grumplings set and Grown Up Grumplings Dies.  If you have loved the Grumpling line of stamps, then you will LOVE this one as well!!

I just LOVE this sentiment from the set because it is SO true!!  Before you have kids and you see other people interact with their kids, you naturally think to yourself what you would or wouldn't do in the same situation. . .and then when you actually have kids you realize that things aren't as "simple" as that!  LOL  I used the NEW Little Bits - Let's Talk Bubble 3 to add pieces of other sentiments from the set as "thoughts" on the card.  The elephant was colored using Copic markers, and the little piece that the elephant is standing on was created using the Build a Scene - Nursery Die.

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Let's Get Wild!

Welcome back for Day 3 of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions!  Today I have two more projects to share with you!  The first uses the Hippo Birdy set with the NEW Hippo Birdy Dies!!  Now making adorable projects with this adorable set is even easier!!

I stamped and colored the hippo and bird with Copic markers and then die cut them with the new coordinating dies.  On the card base, I blended some Abandoned Coral and Wilted Violet Distress Ink to create a little background.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white onto Oreo cardstock.

My second project for today uses the NEW Build a Scene - Nursery.  This is a great die set!  You can build a customized nursery for any new baby's arrival!!  I've paired it up with the NEW Elephant Parade and Welcome Baby Banner as well.

The stamped "baby" is from the Let's Talk Sentiments set.  The whole yellow panel was die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets.  This was a fun card to create.  There are more pieces to the die set that I didn't use, which add even more options!
