This is for the Try a New Technique Challenge on SCS, Totally IrRESISTible. It called for you to use both the Emboss Resist Technique and Versamark Resist (or Ghosting). I have never used both at the same time before, but I really like the results! I especially love it with this stamp set! It's Fancy Florals by Verve Visual. I love all of the different sizes of the flowers and the fact that I can add so many levels to a single flower! For this card, I stamped the medium flower randomly in Versamark on glossy cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I stamped all of the smallest flower pieces randomly and then brayered over the glossy cardstock with Purely Pomegranate. I wiped the clear embossed flowers off with a paper towel, and then added the centers of those flowers with the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I cut down and mounted the glossy white cardstock on black, and then on the Purely Pomegranate card base. Lastly, I added the biggest flower with the sentiment over top and the ribbon as the "stem and leaves". Thanks for visiting!
