Make It Monday - Decreasing Apertures

It's been a couple of weeks since I've been able to play along with the Make It Monday Challenge.  I had some time today, so I created a card for this week's challenge, Decreasing Apertures.  I made a birthday card for my son, Isaac, who is going to turn four in November.  I know, November's a long way off, but I knew I wanted to use the By the Numbers Die Collection and I thought it would make a perfect birthday card for a four year old!  :)

I started by diecutting a white piece of cardstock with the Mat Stack 3 Die.  Then I die cut the 4 out of Pure Poppy cardstock and mounted that with foam tape over top of Ripe Avocado cardstock.  I stamped "birthday" from Wonderful Words Additions onto the white cardstock die cut with the Mat Stack 3 die and added some brads on the opposite side.   I mounted the white cardstock onto the Pure Poppy/Ripe Avocado pieces with foam tape.  I die cut "happy" with the Wonderful Words Dies from Ocean Tides cardstock and glued that to the cardfront.  Finally, I die cut a piece of True Black cardstock with the Double-Ended Banners Die, added a button and drew a "th" with a white gel pen.

You can view more answers to this challenge here!  Thanks for stopping by!  SUPPLIES USED:  Stamps-  Wonderful Words Additions (PTI); Ink- Onxy Black (Versafine); Paper- Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, True Black, Ocean Tides (PTI); Accessories- By the Number Die Collection, Mat Stack 3 Die, Wonderful Words Dies, Double-Ended Banner Die (PTI);  Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"
