Hi there! Welcome back for Day 2 of Sneak Peeks at Taylored Expressions! I hope you've been enjoying what you've been seeing so far! Today I have two more projects to share with you! The first uses the NEW Southwest Cutting Plate! I started my card with a piece of white cardstock and sponged Distress Inks onto it. I used Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber and Cracked Pistachio, all part of Mini Set 13.
Next I die cut the Southwest Cutting Plate out of Sprinkles cardstock and adhered it over the sponged panel. I stamped a sentiment from the NEW Free Spirit set onto a piece of Red Pepper cardstock.
The feather were die cut out of Granny Smith, Oreo and Pumpkin cardstock using the NEW Fine Feathers Die Set. I used a little detail stamp from the NEW Simply Stamped - Daisies set to add the detail to the feathers in white ink. To finish the card, I added some sequins from the Wedding Sequins.
The second project I have for you today uses the NEW Follow Your Arrow Die Set. This is a fun die set that contains all different kinds of arrows. I started by die cutting a bunch out of Lollipop, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue and Plum Punch cardstocks. After diecutting all of the arrows, I embossed an Oreo piece of cardstock with the NEW Ikat Embossing Folder. I LOVE this embossing folder! I just love the pattern and texture it produces!
After arranging the arrows on the card, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Free Spirit set. I also cut off a couple of the hearts from the one arrow and coated them with Glossy Accents to make little embellishments! To finish this card off, I adhered a piece of Granny Smith cardstock along the bottom and used a white gel pen to add some faux stitching.

Gorgeous cards! I like the variegated inked background of the Southwestern card, and the happy neon arrows on the other. Thanks for the inspiration!
I like the background you have created for both cards. That's a great layout for the arrows - I would have been playing around with that for ages! With the colors and design chosen, both are fun cards.
Love the cutting plate and those arrows are adorable. Love your color choices on your backgrounds.
