Today the Baker's Dozen and the Key Ingredients Team have something wonderful to show you!  And it has to do with the new Key Ingredients Kit!  You know how much I LOVE receiving my Key Ingredients Subscription every month.  It's a no-brainer for me.  I don't have to think about coordinating papers, embellishments or cardstock AND the patterned papers are always fresh and often new collections that provide me with lots of inspiration.  It keeps me up to date with what's new and exciting!  :)  It contains enough to make 16 or more cards each month!  Then there are special months like THIS month where there is an exclusive stamp set available!!

Delightful Day is ONLY available to Key Ingredients Subscribers.  It will be available throughout 2012, but it will be at 50% OFF only through 7/10/12.  7/11/12 the price will return to regualr retail of $23.95.  So, if you love this set, sign up today and you can purchase it for half off!!

I created a happy little card using the Delightful Day set along with the Petal Pop-Up Dies 1 and 2.    I started by stamping the flower from the set and then cutting it out.  Next I die cut the Petal Pop-Up flowers with some patterned paper from the Hello Summer Collection.  I used the Layering Doily Die Large to die cut a focal panel.  I mounted the flowers to the focal panel with foam tape and then stamped the happy sentiment.  I added some buttons and Twinkle Goosebumps to the flower centers. . .embellishments included in the Key Ingredients Kit!

Here we are at Day 3 of Sneak Peeks and we have beautiful flowers for you today!  Today I have a couple of project using the Forever in Bloom Set.  Forever in Bloom was illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes line.  It is a set of 16 images and sentiments and boy are those hydrangeas beautiful!

For my first project I used the Dolled Up Collection from My Mind's Eye.  I also used the coordinating Hydrangea Blooms Die Set.  I stamped the flower and leaves and then die cut them and mounted them to the panel with foam tape.  I die cut the sentiment panel with the Take Note Frame 3 Die.  After assembling the card, I added pearls and some stitching.

My second project today features Forever in Bloom as well, but I also used the Tall & Skinny Alphabet Die Set.  First I stamped the outline image in Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then I stamped the solid image on top of the outline image.

The background of the card was embossing using the Musical Swirls Impression Plate.  I scored lines on the edges of the stamped panel and then mounted it to the card base with foam tape.  I die cut letters to spell "mom" with the Tall & Skinny Alphabet Die Set.

We have another new set to share with you today!  It's called Bikes & Trikes.  It's the newest in the Embracing Grace line by Emily Burger.  It's a super cute set containing 20 images and sentiments.  The Tall & Skinny Alphabet Die Set coordinates with the font in this set.  I created a card using this set.

The papers are from the Awesome Collection by Simple Stories.  I stamped the bike onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.  Next, I die cut it using the Plain Circle Nestabilities and created a little flag with the Fly Your Flag 2 Die Set.

Welcome to Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the new Taylored Expressions products!  We have some excited new things to show you, so please stop by each day this week to see what's in store for the release on Thursday, June 7th!  Today we're featuring 3 new stamps sets, 4 *te* A la Cartes, the new Project Pantry and new TE dies!!  I'm all patriotic today featuring Yankee Doodle Homestead and Moka Betsy!!

My first project features the Yankee Doodle Homestead set.  I created a patriotic set using the new 4th of July Project Pantry as well as the new Pinwheel Parade Die Set!!  Yankee Doodle Homestead is the newest in the Apple Doodle Ink line by Doug Applegate.  Doug's Adorable Abode #6 was concepted by Jami Sibley and it celebebrates our country's freedom in style!  If you love Americana, you'll LOVE this set!  I've created a card and gift box ensemble.

I also used both the Reach for the Stars Border Die and Star Border Die on the box.  I just love the papers in this Project Pantry.  They make for such a festive card and treat box, not to mention pinwheel!  :)

My second project for today uses Moka Betsy!  She is the newest in the Moka line designed by Nancy McKinney.  Moka Betsy is a petite set of 6 images and sentiments.  Isn't Betsy ADORABLE??

I also used the new Project Pantry for this card and colored Betsy in with Copic markers.  I stamped, colored and cut out Betsy and mounted her on the circle panel along with a couple of colored and cut out hearts from the set.

Crafty Friends Challenge #5

It's time for another Crafty Friends Challenge and this week's challenge is hosted by Linda.  It is to use flowers either as an embellishment, in the designer paper or in stamps.  I used them in al three ways on my card.  The designer paper is from the Fabulous Collection from Simple Stories.  The stamps are from the Petals and Stems set from Verve.  This is an old Verve set that is still a favorite of mine.

I stamped the flowers and die cut the panel using the Plain Circle Nestabilities and created a matte with the Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.  I added a little flower to the bow, pearls on the right edge and some stitching across the top.  Come play along with the challenge!  You can find all of the details here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

TESC Laugh

I know I have been missing in action lately.  We are moving, so my posts will be a sparse until our move is finished.  In some down time between packing boxes, I decided to use one of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge sketches to create a card.  If you haven't heard, Taylor announced the end of the TESC.  She's going out with a bang by havingt FOUR different sketches and you can use them all or just the one or two you'd like!  You can read all of the info by following the link above.

I used the TESC159 for my card along with the Oops a Daisy set and Oops a Daisy Dies.  I turned the sketch on its side to fit the image.  The paper is from the Summer Fresh Collection from Simple Stories and I LOVE it!  I also used the Grass Border Die along with some of my favorite ribbon from the TE store!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope to be posting more regularly soon!  Have a wonderful day!

Mojo Birthday Wishes

I am LOVING this beautiful weather we've been having.  I love it so much, I had to pull out my Summer Days Collection from Echo Park!  :)  I love all of the bright, happy colors and patterns.  I started out using this week's Mojo Monday Sketch for my card.  I used the Making a Statement set from Verve to make a happy birthday card.

I stamped the sentiment and then die cut some flowers using the coordinating Loopy Blooms Die Set.  I added a little stitching here and there and some bling into the centers of the flowers.  I also drew a border on the sentiment panel with a black pen and ruler.

This is the last day of school before the long weekend!  We're really looking forward to the time off.  Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy YOUR weekend!!  SUPPLIES USED:  Stamps- Making a Statement (Verve Stamps); Ink- Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise (PTI), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Summer Days Collection (Echo Park); Accessories- Loopy Blooms Die Set (Verve Stamps), Small Scalloped Border Die (Taylored Expressions), bling (Doodlebug);  Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"
