Happy Summer

I hope you all had a wonderful a weekend as I did. The weather was absolutely beautiful! I just LOVE summer. . .it's my favorite season. I love being able to wear shorts and lighter clothing, no coats or jackets. . .especially where the kids are concerned. They're so much easier to dress in the summer, aren't they? :)

The warm, beautiful weather this weekend inspired my card for today. Light, summery colors, sunflowers and ladybugs all mean summer to me. I used the Sunny Window cling stamp from Stampendous and the sentiment is from the Happy Greetings Sparkles Clear set by Hero Arts. I used the Large Labels Nestabilities from Spellbinders for matting the focal image and the patterned paper is from the Just Chillin' Girl Paper pad from Making Memories. All of these products can be found at Stamper's Dream. Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Sunny Window (Stampendous), Happy Greetings Sparkles Clear set (Hero Arts); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Certainly Celery (SU), Just Chillin' Girl (Making Memories); Accessories- Large Labels Nestabilities (Spellbinders), red grosgrain (Darice), border punch (EK Success), Copic markers; Finished card measures 4.25" square

What a cute summery card! It doesn't seem to want to turn into summer here in Chicago. We get a teaser day, and then right back to the 60's with rain! ICK!
