As it's nice and sunny here in Pittsburgh, but a little chilly, I thought I'd dig into my October Key Ingredients kit
to create a warm and yummy fall card. :) I started with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge
and used an old set from Taylored Expressions called Frightful Night
. I know, it doesn't look very frightful, does it? Well, I used the tree image from the set and the bat trio image upside down to create the leaves. Ever since Jami
used the bats for leaves a few years ago in her post HERE
, I LOVED the idea and decided to use it for my card today. I used different colors to give a "fall leaves" appearance and added Cinnamon Stickles from the Key Ingredients to add some sparkle to the leaves. The sentiment is from the A Year of Sweet Sentiments
Hope you're having a beautiful day! Thanks for stopping by!
A bat for leaves??? I would NEVER have thought of that...it's SO cool!!!
Oh how I love that tree! Just plain cute and great colors.
It is so pretty! Fall is my favorite time of year...but sadly it is coming to an end. We got SNOW today!
