Verve's Holiday Release Retrospective Blog Hop

Welcome to Verve's Holiday Release Retrospective Blog Hop! The Verve Divas and special guests are hopping today and serving up some more inspiration using our Holiday Release stamps & dies! Besides a look-see at some really lovely cards, there's also a comment prize up for grabs!  If you came from Diana's Blog, you're in the right place!  :)

For my card today, I used the Pinecone Christmas set.   I decided to showcase the beautiful poinsettia image on dark cardstock.  I stamped and embossed the outline image in gold on black cardstock and then colored the image in using colored pencils.  The poinsettia on the sentiment panel was stamped and die cut on white and green cardstock using the coordinating Poinsettia Pinecones Die Set.  The sentiment was also stamped and embossed in gold.

Next on the hop is Teresa!!  Thanks for stopping by!

It's hard for me to go with dark colors for Christmas but you have showed me that it really works. Thanks.
