You're Amazing

I have a card to share today that was inspired by a beautiful card I saw on Pinterest.  I just LOVED this beautiful card created by Lea Lawson!  I loved it because it used felt, which I just never think to use unless it's part of a challenge.  I don't know why.  I like felt, but it's just not one of my "go to" supplies.  I love how Lea layered the felt in her card and added a button and twine on top!

For my card, I used the Flutter-bys Die set from Taylored Expressions with some Carrot and Butter Felt.  I layered the felt and then added some buttons along with some Baker's Twine!  Before I adhered the butterflies to the card, I stamped the leaf image from the Make It Amazing set in a pale green ink.  The sentiment is also from that set.  Once I adhered the butterflies to the card, I added some sequins from the Hocus Pocus Sequin Mix.  The sequins around the felt hearts is another thing I was inspired by in Lea's card.  :)  I hope you've been inspired today!  Thanks for stopping by!

Egg-cellent!

I have a card to share today that uses a little die set I haven't used in a while.  It is the A Tisket a Tasket Die Set from Taylored Expressions.  It's an adorable little die set!!  The stamp set I used in coordination with this die is Egg-stra Special.  I love how this sentiment paired with the die set!  :)  The other images in the set also worked well with stamping them tone on tone on the sentiment panel.

I used patterned paper from the For Peep's Sake 6x6 Paper Pack.  The cardstock used was Strawberry Milkshake, Sugar Cube, Potato Chip, Plum Punch, Sprinkles and Granny Smith.  Along the border of the patterned paper, I used the Scalloped Eyelet Border Die.

Another fun element I added to the card was using different sized glue dots and sprinkling glitter on them.  I thought it gave some interest and sparkle to the plain white side of the card!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you've been inspired to create!

Taylored Expressions RELEASE DAY: Old Rugged Cross and Leafy Vine

All of the products we've been sharing with you this week are NOW AVAILABLE in the TE Store!!  Before you head on over to shop, I have two projects left to share with you!   The first uses the NEW Old Rugged Cross Die Set along with the Walking on Sunshine Embossing Folder.  These two products pair very well together!

First, I stamped the sentiment from He Is Risen onto Potato Chip cardstock and then embossed it with the NEW Walking on Sunshine Embossing Folder.  I also embossed a small piece of Pumpkin and cut out the circle and adhered it over the yellow to give some contrast to the sun.  I die cut the smallest cross in the set out of Chocolate Truffle and then the cloth out of Sugar Cube.

The second project I have uses the NEW Leafy Vine Embossing Folder.  For this card, I inked up the one side of the embossing folder with Bamboo Leaves ink and then embossed a piece of Granny Smith, leaving a "letterpress" like imprint on the cardstock.

I used the Beauty Lies Within 2 Die Set to create the focal point of the card and I added some flowers to the tree using the NEW Little Bits - Easter Confetti and some Strawberry Milkshake cardstock.  The banner for the sentiment was die cut using the NEW Build a Tag 3 Die and the sentiment is from the NEW Tag Along - Easter set.

Thank you for stopping by all week!  I hope you've been inspired to create! Have a wonderful day and HAPPY SHOPPING!!

TE February Sneak Peeks: Egg Stacklets and Build a Tag 3

Welcome to Day 3 of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions!  I hope you've been enjoying everything you've seen so far!  I have two more projects for you today!  The first uses the NEW Egg Stacklets.  I used the Egg Stacklets to create a little egg treat box.  I started with the Sack It To You Die and some Strawberry Milkshake cardstock.

The egg was die cut out of patterned paper from the For Peep's Sake 6x6 Paper Pack.  The little chevrons were die cut using the Skinny Mini Borders 2.  The cardstock colors are Potato Chip, Plum PunchStrawberry Milkshake and Sprinkles.  The bottom of the egg is covered in Granny Smith.

The egg pot and sentiment are from the NEW Tag Along - Easter set.  The box was stuffed with filler and is ready to add that little treat!!  :)

The second project I have for you today uses the NEW Build a Tag 3.  I don't create tags very often simply because I really didn't know what to do with them!  lol  The Build a Tag series makes it so easy for people like me to make tags because all the pieces are die cut for you and you can assemble them how you like!

I used the Somebunny Loves You set for my tags.  I stamped, colored and die cut each of the cute little animals using the coordinating Somebunny Love You Dies.

After assembling the tags, I added some For Peep's Sake Sequins for some sparkle and tied some ribbon through the top to finish them off.  Now they are all ready to tie to a package!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to "see" you tomorrow for RELEASE DAY!!!
