Snow Day Spoiler Alert!

Welcome to Day 1 of sneak peeks for the October Release at Taylored Expressions!  Lots of exciting new products are waiting to be shared, so I hope you'll stop back all this week to see what's in store! Also, don't miss the end of this blog post for a special giveaway I have for you and as well the Question of the Day giveaway!!  :) The new products will be available Thursday, October 6 at 7am Pacific!!   I have two projects to share with you today.  The first uses the NEW Snow Day Background stamp.  I stamped it in Sugar Cube ink onto the red oval panel of this little treat box.

The box was created using the Sack It To You Die.  The Snow Day Background makes a nice background for any card or project with a winter theme!  Here, I've combined it with the NEW If Penguins Could Talk Stamp & Die Combo set.  I just LOVE the fun sentiment!  Another fun addition to this project is the sequins!  They are the NEW Snow Flurries Sequins!  I just love them because they are white and iridescent and come in different sizes!  Did you notice the penguin's little hat?  That is a new Little Bit die called Little Bits - Santa Hat!  I think it looks adorable in non-traditional "Santa" colors too, don't you?

The second project I have to share today uses the NEW Spoiler Alert set.  Spoiler Alert is a great set of sentiments perfect for tags for your gift packaging.  I decided to use it on a card with an image from the Deck the Halls set.  I think this sentiment went very well with Rudolph wrapped up in lights!  LOL

The paper I used is also new!!  It's called the Playful Patterns - Holiday 6x6 Paper Pack!  This piece made a great background for the scene!  Along the bottom of the card I used one of the new embossing folders we're releasing this month, Twinkling Holiday Embossing Folder!  I added a couple of score lines above to give it a "border" feel on the card.  Again, I used the Snow Flurries Sequins for some sparkle!!

Great projects - especially like the reindeer card with snowy background! My favorite things about the holidays is spending time with family I don't see often.

This really warmed my heart, and I think the design is spot on.
