Taylored Expressions RELEASE DAY!!!


Good Morning!  It is RELEASE DAY at Taylored Expressions and all of the exciting new products we've been sharing with you all week are NOW AVAILABLE in the TE Store!!  I have a couple more projects for you today!  The first uses the NEW Pixie Dust Stamp & Die Combo.  This is an adorable little set and works well with all of the princess products that have been released this month!

For my card, I paired this adorable little princess with papers from the NEW Hello Happiness 6x6 Paper Pack as well as the NEW Little Bits - Frog.  I stamped the princess a few times. . .twice being on patterned paper so that I could paper piece her dress.  She was colored with Copic markers and then sparkled up with some Stickles!  :)  I thought the little frog went well on this card because what is a princess without a frog, right?  :)  I used a couple of standard TE products on this card as well. . .the Label Stacklets 2 and Banner Stacklets 1.

The second card I have to share today uses the NEW Simply Stamped - Sunflowers set and Simply Stamped - Sunflowers Dies.  And this card was made for the first ever Share Joy Challenge!  That's right!  TE has a new challenge blog where you can be inspired to create weekly!!  This is my take on the very first challenge!  I hope you'll hop on over and play along!!

Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peeks: Door to Door and Scribble Flowers


Hi there!  Welcome back for more sneak peeks of the September Release at Taylored Expressions!  Tomorrow is the big day!  You can purchase all that you've been seeing these past couple of days tomorrow at 8am Pacific!!  I have two more peeks to share with you today!  The first uses the NEW Door To Door and Door To Door Accessories!!

Door To Door is a fun die set that comes with the pieces to create a door, complete with the beveled panels!  Door To Door Accessories coordinates perfectly by adding some decor to the door!  For my card, I started with the Brick Embossing Folder to create the "house".  The door was made using some Cherry Pop cardstock.  The wreath is one of the dies in the Door To Door Accessories.  I die cut it three times out of three different colors to give it both fullness and a Fall look.  The topiary is another die from the Door To Door Accessories.  I added a turkey using the NEW Little Bits - Turkey as well as some scattered leaves with the NEW Little Bits - Leaves.  The sentiment is from the NEW If Turkeys Could Talk set.

The second project I have today uses the NEW Scribble Flowers.  Scribble Flowers are ADORABLE!!  I just love the bits and pieces in this die set that you can make different types of flowers by putting the pieces together.  I created a little box using the Sack It To You Die.

I die cut the flowers using Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn, Cookie Monster, Salt Water Taffy, Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake and the NEW Pink Champagne cardstock.  I used the Grass Border Die to finish the scene. The sentiment is from the NEW C'mon Get Happy set and was stamped and embossed in white on Oreo cardstock.

Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peeks: C'mon Get Happy and Daughter of the King


Hi there!  Welcome back for Day 2 of sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions!  I hope you've been liking what you're seeing so far!  I have two more projects to share with you todad.  The first uses the NEW C'mon Get Happy set.  C'mon Get Happy is an awesome set of sentiments all about being happy!  :)

For my card, I started with the Floral Cutting Plate. I die cut it out of Sugar Cube cardstock so that it would be white on white for the background of the card.  I love the texture it gives a card when you use the same color as the card base.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed in Zing White and in Zing Grapefruit onto vellum.  The carriage was die cut using the NEW Little Bits - Carriage.  

The second project I have today uses the NEW Daughter of the King set.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment in white onto a strip of vellum.  The patterned paper is from the Hello Happiness 6x6 Paper Pack.

The card base was embossed using the Ikat Embossing Folder.  For the gold around the edges of the patterned paper, I rubbed the edges of the paper onto a Versamark pad and then sprinkled gold embossing powder on it and embossed it.  I love the look of the "gold-dipped" edges.  The crown was die cut from gold cardstock using the NEW Little Bits - Crown.
