Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks - Roly Poly Santa and Eventful Holidays

Welcome back for Day 2 of the October Sneak Peeks!  I hope you are enjoying what you're seeing!  I have two more projects to share with you today!  The first uses the NEW Roly Poly - Santa.  The new die line of  Roly Poly are made to be built on a 3 inch circle, which is included in the NEW Stitched Circle Stacklets.  I used the NEW Season's Greetings Banner Die for the sentiment.

Isn't this Roly Poly Santa the cutest?  Actually, all of the Roly Polys are CUTE!!!  I die cut the pieces out of Cherry Pop, Sugar Cube, Oreo, Strawberry Milkshake and Cupcake cardstock.  On the inside of the card I used a sentiment from the NEW In and Out - Christmas set and "prettied" it up with some Little Bits - Christmas Confetti.

My second project for today uses the NEW Eventful - Holidays set.  I used some papers from the Build a Scene - Christmas Matched Kit.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white.  The little "village" was die cut using the NEW Night Before Christmas Die.  I thought these would make fun and simple invitations to a Christmas party!

Inside, I used the previously released RSVP as well as other sentiments from the Eventful - Holidays set.

Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks - Simply Stamped Pinecones and Picture Perfect

Good morning!  Welcome to the first day of sneak peeks for the October Release at Taylored Expressions!  The actual release takes place this Thursday, October 1st, but we've got a lot to show you before then! ;)  I have two projects to share today.  The first uses the NEW Simply Stamped - Pinecones set along with the Simply Stamped - Pinecones Dies!

This is fun new set, and just like the previously release Simply Stamped line, there is multi-step stamping so that you end up with a 3 dimensional image!  I used three different shades of brown ink for my pinecones.  The papers are from the NEW Build a Scene Christmas Matched Kit.  If you notice, the background is embossed with the NEW Holly Embossing Folder.  Another exciting new product that is releasing Thursday are the Stitched Circle Stacklets, which is what I used to die cut the red circle.  To finish my card, I added some NEW Build a Scene Christmas Sequins!

The second project I have to share uses the NEW Picture Perfect Horizontal Die Set.  This die set is a fun new way to create picture Christmas cards!!  I used it to create a shaker card, though.  There is a large die (which I've used) and a smaller frame die in the set.  I die cut the frame twice. . .once out of some patterned paper from the Build a Scene Christmas 6x6 Paper Pack and once out of some Cherry Pop cardstock and then just cut the "Merry Christmas" part and adhered it over the other.

The inner parts of the shaker were created using the NEW Build a Scene Central Park Dies as well as the Little Bits - Snowflake Confetti and Little Bits - Reindeer.  So, you don't have to use these dies JUST for photo cards!!

Wishing You a Bright Sunshiny Day!

Hi there! I don't know about you, but I can't believe it's Monday again!  Weekends seem to go SO fast!  As busy as our weekend was, I was able to play a little!  ;)  I have a card that uses the Potty People Border from Taylored Expressions as well as a sentiment from Sunshiny Day.  I started by being inspired by last week's Share Joy Challenge!!  I not only used the sketch, but I played the Tic-Tac-Toe by using sequins, twine and dry embossing!

I started out by dry embossing some Peapod cardstock with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder.  I die cut the Potty People Border out of Oreo cardstock and then adhered it over a piece of patterned paper from the Rainbow Brights 6x6 Paper Pack.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of Candy Corn cardstock that was die cut with the Simple Tabs Die Set.  I wrapped some Black & White Twine around the corner and finished the card off with some Rainbow Brights Sequins!

I hope you've been inspired to come play along with the Share Joy Challenge!!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday!

VLV Harvest Blessings

Hi there!  It's Friday and time for another Viva la Verve!!  This week I'm hosting, so I hope you'll hop on over and play along!  I used the Harvest Blessings set for my card.  The papers I found in my scrap stash and they looked very "Fall" to me.

I stamped the leaves on the focal piece as well as the sentiment and then sponged the whole piece.  I also stamped two leaves on colored cardstock and cut them out.  I rubbed the edges with Versamark and then poured Gold embossing folder on them.  It gave them that "gold-dipped" look, which has become one of my new favorite things!  I added some sequins as well as some glass glitter on the card for some sparkle.

Please come play along!  It's always fun and you could win some Verve!!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

VLV Spread Your Wings

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  Today I have card using the new Viva la Verve Sketch which was posted today!!  This awesome sketch was created by Julee, so I hope you'll hop on over and play along!  I used the Wings of Love set from Verve for my card.  (by the way, this stamp set is in the 40% off category in the HUGE SALE that's happening at Verve right now!)  I stamped and embossed the heart with wings in gold onto vellum.

The papers that I used were in my scrap bin and are from the My Mind's Eye Dolled Up Collection.  I added a few of the little sentiments from the set over top of the heart and embossed a big sentiment in white on the polka dot panel.  To finish the card off, I added some gold and white twine as well as sequins from the Shine Bright Collection.

Verve has extended the Anni-VERVE-sary Sale through September 7, and all stamps, dies and embellishments are 10 - 50% off!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful holiday weekend!
