10th Anni-VERVE-sary Spotlight Hops - Day 1

Welcome to our 10th Anni-VERVE-sary Spotlight Hops! Verve is celebrating 10 years of bringing stamps to the world with a release of new and classic Verve! For the next few days we'll be shining our creative spotlights on the new Verve sets and dies that will be releasing Monday, August 28. We hope you'll join us as the design team, special Guest Diva Kelly Lunceford, and some fabulous rockstar alumni Divas share their inspirations with the new goodies this week.

Today's feature is on the Little Ones stamp set and coordinating Little Ones Die Set. A fusion of old and new, this baby themed set brings back some of Verve's most popular plain janes, mixed with a few new designs to tie it all together.

If you've come from visiting Betty, you're in the right place!!  For today's card I decided to go with a fun color combo and use that adorable little chick from the Little Ones set.  I used the VLV Sketch for the month of August as well.  The papers are from my scrap bin and they're all about love!  :)  The chick was colored with Copic markers and die cut using the Little Ones Die Set.  The heart was stamped and die cut as well.  As a finishing touch, I added some Shine Bright Sequins to the card for some sparkle.  Thank you for stopping by!  Next on today's hop is Marisa!!

Verve July Release Spotlight Hop - Day 4

Welcome back to Day 4 of Verve's July Release Spotlight Hops!  It's an exciting day as there's new Verve in the store this morning! Three beautiful new sets and coordinating die sets just released and they're all available in the shop right now. To celebrate our new release, we're putting on another blog hop with a fabulous giveaway!

Today's featured focus is designer's choice, so you might just sneak a peek at a whole bunch of must-haves!  If you've come from visiting Wanda, you're in the right place!  For this card, I used the Fill My Cup stamp set along with the Happiness in a Cup Die Set.  I just LOVE the cups with the straws that come in both stamp sets Verve is releasing this month.  It's always great to have thank you cards on hand. . .and thank you cards with a coffee pun for a sentiment are awesome because I love to stick a Starbucks card inside!  :)

Verve July Release Spotlight Hops - Day 3

Welcome back to Day 3 of Verve's July Release Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guests are back for another day of spotlighting our new release! Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Fill My Cup stamp set. This set also coordinates with the Happiness in a Cup Die Set we shared yesterday.  If you've come from visiting Wanda, you're in the right place!!  I think this set is pretty sweet!  I LOVE that it coordinates with the Happiness in a Cup Die Set set as well!!  I only used the stamp set for this card though.  I thought this sentiment was perfect for clean, simple and happy card complete with sunshine, clouds and a summer feel.  I used papers from the Sunny Days Ahead Collection from Echo Park.  The cloud and sun was stamped, colored, cut out and then mounted to the card with foam tape.  Next on today's hop is Marisa!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Happiness Is stamp set and coordinating Happiness in a Cup Die Set.  If you've come from visiting Wanda, you're in the right place!!  I decided to go clean and simple with this set.  I just LOVE the die cut "happiness".  It just makes me happy and I wanted it to stand out on the card.  As far as the "teensy bit of silence". . .anyone with multiple kids would understand!  ;)  When I stamped the sentiment, I inked it up with a medium blue ink and then just inked up the bottom parts of the sentiment with a deeper blue to get the ombre look.  I LOVE how the mug looks distressed. . . and that's all part of the stamp!  How cool is that?!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Next on today's hop is Marisa!!

Verve May New Release Spotlight Hop!

If you're coming from visiting Julee, you're in the right place!  I have two card today using the NEW Butterfly Grace set along with the coordinating Graceful Butterflies die set.  I just think this set is beautiful!  I love the different butterflies, the beautiful sentiments. . .and the coordinating dies make it even better!

I stamped and die cut each butterfly.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed.  The papers are from the Sugar Chic Collection by Heidi Swapp.  I also used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch for my first card!

My second card is more on the simple side.  The papers are from the We Are Family Collection from Echo Park.  I used the tiny butterfly die from the die set for this card as well.  They are just SO sweet!
