Beate Weekend Sketch #14

This is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I just LOVE her sketch challenges. I was going through my paper, which I have tons of, and came across this Holiday Thyme paper. I forgot I even had it! I tried to make it look non-Holiday. . .hopefully it worked! I didn't know what to do with the circle on the right side of the sketch since I put the sentiment with the tulips, so I decided to put another ladybug. I added an Old Olive "shadow" on the ladybugs to give them a little dimension. I connected the two ladybugs with a trail of paper piercings and I wasn't really crazy about it, so I traced over the trail with Stardust Stickles. I'm still not sure I'm crazy about it, but it's better than just the piercings! Head on over to Beate's blog and get started on the sketch challenge! I promise you'll have fun! Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Garden Whimsy; Ink- Cranberry Crisp, Old Olive, Basic Black; Paper- Holiday Thyme Designer Paper, Old Olive, Whisper White; Accessories- paper piercer, Old Olive marker, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, Stardust Stickles.
