Business Card

For those of you who haven't seen, Amy at Heartfelt Greetings is having a contest on her blog. It is to create business cards for yourself! First of all, let me say that I have REALLY missed Amy's challenges! She used to do a sketch challenge every Sunday that I LOVED! So, when I saw that she had posted a "challenge", I was so excited to participate! Now, when it was for business cards, I had to think about it a lot. This is definitely something I've never done before. . .what was I going to do in such a small space, and make it functional at the same time? Then there was the issue of "what do I advertise"? I'm not on any design teams, and I wouldn't exactly call myself a Freelance Designer as much as those things would be a dream! :) That's when I thought I could use my blog to advertise what kinds of things I make just in case someone might want a card or gift set. Who knows if I'll ever give one of these out, but it was A LOT of fun to create! Really very simple too! Thanks, Amy, for the challenge! If any of you are up for it, give it a try! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Garden Whimsy, Whimsy Jumbo wheel; Ink- Old Olive; Paper- Papertrey Ink white cardstock, DCWV black; Accessories- slit punch, hole punch, Ruby Red and Basic Black markers.
