Rain Rain Go Away

Here is another card I made for our Pajama Party over at Paper Pretties last week. This was for the Glossy Cardstock Challenge. You had to use glossy cardstock, and you could use ANY technique that goes with glossy cardstock. I chose crayon resist. I stamped the clouds from Rainy Day Friends twice, once in black and once in Tempting Turquoise as a kind of shadow. I colored the Tempting Turquoise clouds in with a white crayon and then brayered and sponged Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie ink over the glossy cardstock. I wiped the Tempting Turquoise clouds with a paper towel so they were very white. I thought this double stamping gave a "motion" to the clouds. The final touches were the Dew Drops and the paper piercing along the bottom of the card. This card is perfect for today as it's very dreary here. . .no sun. Hopefully the rain will go away!
