This card is for two challenges, both by Taylor! It's for Taylor's Friday Cupcake Sketch Challenge, and for her Dirty Dare Cupcake Challenge. I used the What's Up, Cupcake set from My Favorite Things that Michelle of Stamper's Dream sent me, and the Lined Paper Backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms. When I saw the sketch, the tilted panel made me think of a piece of paper (or list) that got stuck to the card. So, I used the Lined Paper Backgrounder and made a shopping list for the cupcakes.
On another note, I've been asked to include the dimensions of my finished card in my card recipes. I will try to remember to do that from now on. For past cards, most of my cards are the standard 4.25"X5.5". If it's a square card, it's always 4.25" square since that still fits in a standard envelope. Sometimes I'll create 3"x6" cards, but they're usually in response to a challenge asking for that specific size. Hopefully that information will clear up any questions on cards I've posted before today. Thanks for stopping by and as always, I hope you're having a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- What's Up, Cupcake? Great job. Cute card.
WOOHOO! You go, girl! you won Taylor's Cupcake Honors for this card! it's OUTSTANDING-LOVE the lined paper with grocery list in the bg, so clever. love the bright colors!
What a fun card! The background is so great! :)
Charmaine this is adorable. I love that cupcake stamp!
Beautiful! And thank you for including finished card sizes. Since most pictures are taken close up in order to see such pretty details and without a background so as not to create a distraction, there's usually nothing to judge the actual card size against! Thanks for taking the time to add this helpful info!
