From the Sweet Shoppe

Today I'm the featured designer in the Taylored Expressions Newsletter. Maybe you saw this project in the newsletter. If you're not signed up for the newsletter, you can do that from the Taylored Expressions Homepage! The newsletter is packed full of the latest and greatest at Taylored Expressions as well as a feature on one of the designers from the Baker's Dozen! You won't want to miss all of the deals and the "get to know you" with the design team!

For my project today, I used just the base template from Lauren's Lollipop Along My Timeless Template using some acetate. I wanted to create a "designer" cupcake carrier from the Sweet Shoppe down on Main Street in Cuppieville! (wink) Using the base template, I was able to fit two mini cupcakes in the carrier. Before assembling the box, I stamped flowers from the Downtown Diva set on the acetate. I made a tray to hold the cupcakes using a 3"x5" piece of cardstock and scoring at 1/2" on each side. Then I used my Plain Circle Nestabilities to cut out circles to fit the mini cupcakes. Lastly, I stamped the Sweet Shoppe image and punched out a portion for the "handle". It makes an adorable little treat box! It would even look cute with little cupcake candles that are about the same size. . .and then you wouldn't be tempted to eat the contents! LOL I hope you've enjoyed my project! Thanks for visiting! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Downtown Diva (Taylored Expressions); Ink- Whisper White Craft (SU), Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Regal Rose, Basic Black (SU), acetate; Accessories- clear embossing powder, Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Circle punch (SU), Scallop circle punch (Marvy Uchida), Copic markers, flowers and brads from Easter Key Ingredients (Taylored Expressions), white organdy ribbon (Darice), Lollipop Along My Timeless Template (PTI).
