Verve New Release Spotlight - Day 1

It's almost time for another Verve Release and today the Divas are starting sneak peeks of what's to come!  :)  Today's spotlights are on two new sets, Swirling Hearts and Sweet Treats and the NEW DIES!! 

I have a couple of cards I created using the Sweet Treats set today!  I was in a melon kind of mood, so both cards use that color!  :)  The first uses the thank you sentiment from the set along with the frame image.  The frame image was cut using the new Classy Label Die!  The background of the card uses the Swirling Hearts Sizzix folder which I thought matched perfectly. 

The second card uses another of the frame images in the set along with the Just Because sentiment.  I stamped the frame image onto the white card and then stamped again along with the sentiment on some blush cardstock and cut the sentiment part out using the new Embossed Oval Die!

I added some rhinestones along the flourish of the frame and in the center of the embossed image along the top of the card.  That embossed image is from the Iron Works Cuttlebug folder and the bottom of the card uses the Textile Cuttlebug folder. 

This Friday, January 7, Verve is releasing these fabulous new sets and dies! To countdown to the release, we’re putting on a series of mini blog hops today through Thursday of this week to preview the new sets!
