Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peeks - Day 1

We have SO much to show you this month!  It is our biggest release ever with 17 new stamps and stamp sets and 7 new dies and die sets!!  We've even extended the Birthday Bash into 5 full days of inspiration. . .we hope you enjoy!!

My first project uses the previously released Belated Birthday - Little Behind A la Carte.  I just LOVE the cute little bunny in this one showing his "little behind".  :)  For the background of this card, I used the NEW Circles Background stamp!!  I colored the bunny using Copic markers and created some grass as well. 

I stitched around the card and the stitching ended up being a fortunated accident!  I started stitched a straight border around the card and then the card got stuck and started to go a little crooked.  In order to "fix" it and not trash the whole card, I stitched around the card again purposely making the lines crooked.  I think it adds to the "punny" nature of the card.  :) 

The inside has the punny part of the sentiment. 

Here are all of the Belated Birthday A la Cartes, old and new.  Aren't they adorable?  Well, guess what?  Customers will be able to get one FREE with a $50 purchase through Monday 9/10 - details will be posted on the current specials page! 

The next project I have for you is using the new You Take the Cake set.  It is a set of 15 and it's something new for TE. . .each of our illustrators has contributed images to this special celebration sampler set.  It will not be available for sale until after the October release, but for now, it will be FREE with any purchase of $150 or more. 

It's got a lot of ADORABLE images and sentiments that are just perfect for any kind of birthday celebration!  On my card, I also used two of the new dies coming to TE!  The first is the Curly Border Die and the other is the Basic Buckles Die Set.  I used two of the buckles from the Basic Buckles Die Set layered on top of each other with a ribbon tied through them.  The Curly Border Die is perfect for fun and whimsical cards!  I really think you'll love it!  I used the Hootenanny Collection from My Mind's Eye for my card along with some Ladybug Doodle Twine and some Cotton Candy Stickles for the cake.
