Be Inspired #11

Here is my version of the Be Inspired Challenge this week. This card changed so many times for me. My original idea was to have it be a no layer card and instead of all of those colored circles, I colored just the cake part of the image with markers of the different colors and punched those out with a circle punch. It wasn't working for me, so I decided to just punch out colors of cardstock. Once I did that, the girl image looked lost. That's why she ended up mounted on Chocolate Chip cardstock. Maybe I should have left her alone. In any case, this was the end result. I'm very interested to see what Beate, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck, Silke Ledlow and Susan Roberts have created for this inspiration challenge. Hope you are too!

this is great! love the colored circles, but your idea of coloring the cake is a great one too (maybe try that on another card so we can see it!?) still not crazy about the set but you certainly know how to showcase it well!
