Beate Weekend Sketch #56

Another Friday and another Beate Weekend Sketch! I just LOVE Fridays! :) For this sketch I decided I was going to use one of the new sets I got, but haven't inked up yet. When I first saw Inspired By Nature, I HAD to have it! I used my Red Riding Hood ink pad to color the tops of the flowers, then used a Chocolate Chip marker and Old Olive marker to color the centers and the stems. I was going to use Old Olive cardstock as my accent color, but I decided to go with Kiwi Kiss since it was brighter. Make sure you stop by to see what Beate, Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori, MaryJo and Sharon have created with the sketch. . .that's my favorite part. I just LOVE all of their work!

Tonight is our cabaret! I am so excited, but so nervous at the same time. When my husband and I put this together, it seemed like such a long way off. I can't believe it's here already! I'll let you know tomorrow how it went! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Inspired By Nature (SU); Paper- Red Riding Hood, Kiwi Kiss (SU) Dark Chocolate (Papertrey Ink), white (Georgia-Pacific); Ink- Red Riding Hood (SU); Accessories- Chocolate Chip, Old Olive markers, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Photo corner punch (SU), paper piercer, Threading Water punch (Fiskars), brads (Making Memories), organdy polka dot ribbon (Doodliedoo); Finished card measures 5.5" square
