Here's a bit of a different card I made using Grateful Elegance from Verve Stamps. It's not as "elegant" as the set calls for, but I thought it would be fun to create something a little more "cute" with it. I stamped the ornate border in almost all of the new Stampin' Up! In Colors. I couldn't fit in Baja Breeze! LOL If you haven't been to the Verve Forums lately, there are still Meet the Verve Diva Challenges going on as well as a One Sheet Wonder Challenge! Join in the fun, because we LOVE to see what you create! The next Verve Release is Tuesday, September 9th at 10pm EST in the Verve Forum! We hope to see you there!
As far as our cabaret last night. . .it was a hit! My husband and I had NO IDEA what to expect. It was just a casual night in a small theater where my husband and I invited friends, family and colleagues as well as the owners of the theater inviting some people. We were so afraid that 10 people would show up and it would look pretty bare in a house that seats 70! Much to our surprise and delight, it was a MORE THAN FULL house! They had to add chairs because 80 people showed up! We couldn't believe it. . .we were so excited! It seemed that everyone really enjoyed the show too, which is nice. It was a great experience for both of us since we rarely get to perform together anymore since having children. I hope it will be the beginning of a "new performing phase" of our lives because boy do we miss it! :) Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
