Anni-VERVE-sary Spotlight Hop - Day 8

Welcome back for Day 8 of the Spotlight Hops!! Hopefully you've arrived here from Andrea's Blog  Today I am featuring the Borderline set along with the Mini Classy Label Die.  I have two cards for you today.  The first uses the Mini Classy Label Die along with the Paper Hearts Collection from Crate Paper.  I stamped the heart border from the set in alternating colors and created a banner.  Next I die cut the Mini Classy Label Die stamped the coordinating image from the set along with the sentiment.  I matte the sentiment piece with the larger die cut of the Mini Classy Label Die.  I added some heart buttons and some stitching to finish the card.

For my second card, I created a clean and simple card.  I wanted to feature the one border in the set that is just lines that "frame" the label that you would stamp in between them.  I stamped that border in black and then stamped the Mini Bookplate image from the set in gray.  This border stamp from the set makes for perfect one layer cards that have a simple and elegant look.

We've picked a mystery blog from today's hop and hidden a prize! So be sure to give a little shout out in the comment section as you hop around to each blog on the list. We’ll draw a random winner from all of the comments on the mystery blog to win today's featured sets and dies. Check out the Verve Blog for all the prize details and deadlines.

I love both cards. The style of the background paper on the first is definitely dreamy, and the second is pure sentiment.
