Verve November Diva Dare

The November Diva Dare is going on over at the Verve Blog.  Today is my turn to share my take on the challenge, Vellum Visions.  I don't use vellum very often, but when I do, it's usually to "soften" a busy patterned paper so that I can stamp a sentiment.  For my card, I used the Surely Goodness set from Verve along with the coordinating dies, Goodness Flowers Die Set.  The papers are from the Simple Life Collection from Echo Park.

I stamped the sentiment onto the vellum and then some flowers from the set.  The large flower was die cut and then stamped and added to the card with foam tape.  I used some ribbon from the Spring Fling Collection to finish the card.

Head on over to the Verve Blog to see more answers to this month's challenge or for two chances to win!!

Taylored Expressions November RELEASE DAY!!

It's RELEASE DAY at Taylored Expressions!  Everything we've been featuring this week is NOW AVAILABLE in the TE Store!!  I have one last project for you today and it features the Set the Season set.  Set the Season is designed to fit along the bottom of the Take Your Place die for creating seasonal placecards.

As well as Take Your Place works for creating placecards, it also works really well at creating treat toppers!  For my project I created two cello bag gifts and used the Take Your Place die to create toppers for the bags, and part of the Napkin Ring Die for the sentiment panel.  The little "scrolly" image along the bottom of the topper is from the Set the Season set.  The "thanks" is from the In & Out - Thanks set.  I used Oreo and Toffee cardstock.

I hope you've enjoyed all of the projects this week!  Thanks for stopping by each day and HAPPY SHOPPING!!  If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete blog roll of our participating designers!

Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks - Day 3

Welcome back for Day 3 of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions!!  I hope you've enjoyed the past two days and the exciting new products we've shared so far!  Today I have two more projects to share with you!  The first uses the NEW Take Your Place and Napkin Ring dies.

Take Your Place and Napkin Ring help to create the perfect table setting!  I know my kids will be thrilled to find their seats at the table assigned with a name card!  lol  For the place cards, I used papers from the Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack as well as Cherry Pop and Oreo cardstock.  The names were die cut using the Mini Caps Alpha & #s and the snowflakes were die cut from Sugar Cube cardstock using the Make a Snowflake Dies.

The napkin rings used Cherry Pop, Oreo and Sugar Cube cardstock again with the Make a Snowflake Dies.

My second project for today uses the NEW Perfect Blend stamp set.  This is a cute "coffee and friends" stamp set.  I stamped and colored the image from the set and matted it with Poppy Seed cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white onto Mulled Wine cardstock, which was die cut using the Build a Tag 1 Die

The base green color is the NEW Sweet Basil cardstock and the Dijon cardstock was die cut using the NEW Loop-de-loo Cutting Plate.  I just love the look of the new cutting plate!
