Just Rite

When I was thinking of a project to create for my post today, I was absolutely stumped. I wanted to do something different and everything I thought of I had seen somewhere before. Then I walked past the magnetic chalkboard in my kitchen where I still have a few friends' Christmas picture cards hanging. So, I thought I'd make our Christmas card for this year. Christmas is the one time a year that I send pictures of the kids to everyone so they can see how they've grown. I usually write their names and ages on the backs of each picture. So, I thought it would be neat to set up the Just Rite Stamper once for each child and stamp their "stats" 50+ times instead of writing them! Then I used a 1 1/4" circle punch to punch out the pictures and mounted all of the pieces on a red or green glittered "ornament" hanging from the tree. I may have to change the pictures since Savannah is not 5 yet and Isaac is not quite 1, but you get the picture! :) I threaded silver cording through the ornaments and through the tree and tied bows to make them look as if they really are hanging ornaments. No more loose little pictures for anyone. They receive a card that fits in a business sized envelope that they can hang in one piece!

Here are a couple of other cards I made using my Just Rite Stamper. In the "For You" card, I punched a hole out of the patterned paper before mounting it to the card. Then, after mounting the patterned paper to the card, I used the circle Nestabilities to emboss inside the punched circle. I then stamped the border in Old Olive and the sentiment in Red Riding Hood. For the last card, I used the border as a background pattern on the card. I used the "From the Desk Of" border and then stamped my husband's name in Pacific Point on white cardstock and punched it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch and mounted it inside the "From the Desk Of" border.
