Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks: Doodle Alphabet and Wispy Wishes

Welcome back for Day 3 of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions!  Are you enjoying the peeks so far?  I hope so!  Today I have two projects to share with you.  The first uses the NEW Doodle Alphabet!  I created a set of bookmarks using the Doodle Alphabet along with the NEW Easter Treat Toppers

I stamped letters in the Doodle Alphabet to spell "smile" and colored them in Spring colors using Copic markers.  I die cut the tulips and butterfly in different colors using the Easter Treat Toppers.  Then I paper pieced them together to get the multi-colored images.  Once I attached them to the tops of the bookmarks, I added Stardust Stickles all over them to give them a nice sparkle.  As a finishing touch, I added some faux stitching on the bookmarks.

My second project today uses the NEW Wispy Wishes set along with the coordinating die set, Wispy Feathers.  The background of the card uses the NEW Ruffle My Feathers Cutting Plate.  After I die cut the background piece, I pulled the little "tabs" up to add to the "ruffling my feathers" effect.  :)

I stamped the feathers in white craft ink on black cardstock and embossed them in white and then die cut them using the Wispy Feathers Die.  After I embossed them, I colored portions of the feathers with colored pencils to add some color.  The sentiment was stamped onto a piece die cut using the Band-It Die.  I finished the card by tying some Baker's Twine around the top.

Stop by and see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has to show you today!  And remember, tonight is the Facebook Preview Party if you're interested in seeing the full sets before they are available for purchase tomorrow morning!
