Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks: In Other Words - Read and Apple Stacklets

Welcome to August Sneak Peeks for Taylored Expressions!  We have lots of new and exciting products to show you this week, so I hope you'll come back each day!  I have two projects for you today.  The first one uses the NEW In Other Words-Read set.  In Other Words - Read coordinates with the Mark Your Spot Bookmark Die

There are images and sentiments that are perfect for readers.  My kids just LOVE bookmarks, so everytime I make new ones, they each want one.  I stamped and colored the image on the bookmarks, and then I layered the text in different colors for something a little different.

The second project I have today uses the NEW Apple Stacklets and the Apple Stem & Seeds Dies.  I just LOVE these!  I have visions of adorable "apple" brag books using these dies!  :)  For this card, I used the largest apple die along with a smaller one to give the look of "the inside" of the apple where the seeds are.

The papers are from the We Are Family Collection from Echo Park.  The sentiment is from another new set called Mischief Maker - Back to School.  You can visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen to get a peek at that set!  ;)  The stem and leaf are one piece, but I die cut it once out of green and once out of brown and pieced it together to make it two different colors.

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog  each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

Don't forget to visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen for more sneak peeks!

Love those book markers. When I saw the new release on the Taylored Expressions blog, I was thinking "perfect for bookmarkers." You did a great job on them.

Love your set of bookmarks! Have been wanting to create some ever since I first saw this set - now I can use yours for inspiration! My favorite thing of yours this week is that apple card! Love the slightly unusual colors and the way you crated the core! Super cute!
