Be Inspired #15

Time for another one of Beate's Be Inspired Challenges! When I first saw this picture, I LOVED the dress, but I had no idea what I was going to do with it as inspiration. If you've visited my blog for any length of time, you might remember that I have considered myself "flourish challenged." LOL I can use a flourish here and there as an accent, but using nothing but flourishes, help! :) This dress made me think of the Filigree Fantasy set by Verve Visual. . .LOTS of flourishes! So, I just picked the large pattern on the dress and went from there with colors and layout. After I was finished, there was no room for a sentiment, so I put the sentiment from this set ("Sprinkle each day with kindness") on the inside of the card. . .FRAMED with flourishes even! LOL Like anything that scares you or you don't feel you know how to do. . .once you do it, it doesn't seem as bad as you thought it was. :) Be sure and stop by to see what gorgeous creations Beate, Danielle Lounds, Jennifer Buck and Silke Ledlow have been inspired to create. Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Filigree Fantasy (Verve Visual); Paper- Basic Gray, Whisper White, Soft Sky (SU), brown and orange (DCWV); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine); Accessories- Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), rhinestone brad (Darice)

Charmaine, it looks like the flourishes are growing on you. Your card looks fantastic! I love flourishes and never even thought about using them. That's why I love Inspiration challenges. The cards created for those challenges are all so different!
Have a wonderful day! Hugs and smiles

I don't know you, but it doesn't seem like you are flourish challenged. Your response to this challenge is spot on. I don't stamp (I like it. I envy those who do, but I never finish anything I start.) Instead I scrapblog online.

Great Job!
