Stuck on You!

I have a cute little card that uses some fun stamps from Taylored Expressions.  This is the Stuck on You set.  I think these little hedgehogs are just darling!  I used few of my favorite colors of cardstock too.  The base of the card is Sugar Cube while the background is Strawberry Milkshake.  The piece that is die cut with the Blooming Hearts Cutting Plate is Lollipop.

For the sentiment panel, I used the Banner Stacklets 2 to die cut both the Granny Smith cardstock and the Oreo cardstock.  I finished the card with some Black and White Baker's Twine.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Chick Treat

I have a cute little project to share today.  My project was inspired by this adorable project on Pinterest by Kendra Wietstock.  I was inspired by the fact that it was a 3D treat, but also that it was made of acetate!  I loved the "see-through" look of the treat, so I looked at my Sack It Dies from Taylored Expressions and the candy in the cabinet to see what I could come up with!  :)

When I found Lemonheads in the kids' Halloween candy, I decided to create a little chick using the Sack It To You Die along with the Sack It - Chick.   I thought it worked well!  The container was die cut out of Clear Plastic Sheets.  The Lemonheads "color" the body of the chick yellow, and I just had to die cut yellow wings, the little hair sprout and then of course the eyes, beak, belly and feet.  Those were die cut using Lemon Meringue, Oreo, Pumpkin and Sugar Cube.

I tied the cello bag with some Baker's Twine.  I think it turned out cute!  Hope you've been inspired!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Let It Snow

I have a card to share with you today!  It uses the Snowflake Border Die from Taylored Expressions.  I die cut a bunch of the borders out of Sugar Cube cardstock.  Then I cut a piece of Strawberry Milkshake and adhered the borders onto the Strawberry Milkshake piece.  After they were all adhered well, I trimmed around the edges of the pink.

I adhered the pink piece to the cardbase with foam tape and then added pink and white sequins from the Gingerbread Lane Sequins to some of the snowflake centers.  The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white onto Oreo cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Little Bits of Christmas set.  I know this is a simple card, but I love that you would never know those snowflakes came from a border die!  I like using the border dies in other ways than just borders.  I hope you've been inspired today!  Thank for stopping by!

Wishing You Happiness

I have a little Verve to share today.  This card uses the Inspire Hope set, which is unfortunately out of stock right now.  :(  I love the frame of this set that you can add the flower clusters to.  I also added some Shine Bright Sequins to the centers of the flowers.

The ribbon is from the Summer Sailing Ribbon Collection.  This was just a card I made quickly for a last minute occasion.  I love stamp sets that are great for last minute cards!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day!

The hearts and butterflies were die cut using other included dies.  I used some Lemon Meringue cardstock as well as patterned papers from the Rainbow Brights 6x6 Paper Pack and the Build a Scene 6x6 Paper Pack.  I also used some sequins from the Rainbow Brights Matched Sequins.  I hope you've enjoyed all you've seen this week!  Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY SHOPPING!!

TE January Sneak Peeks: Graysie and Paw-some

Welcome back for another day of sneaks at Taylored Expressions!  I hope you've been enjoying what you've been seeing so far!  Lots of adorable new products, huh?  :)  Today I have two projects to share with you.  The first uses the NEW Graysie set.  Isnt' this little kitty adorable?  I told you!  Each set is cuter than the next!

I used papers from both the Rainbow Brights 6x6 Paper Pack and the Build a Scene 6x6 Paper Pack.  The kitty was stamped, colored and die cut with the included, coordinating die.  For the "grass", I used the NEW Build a Scene - On the Road Dies and I used the Build a Scene - Rolling Clouds Dies for the clouds.  These new dies add some fun interest to cards, don't you think?  I especially love the stitching!

The second project I have for you today uses the NEW Paw-some set.  Love this dog with his little posse of birds!  lol  So cute!  This, too, was stamped, colored and then die cut using the included, coordinating die.  One of my favorite things about these Petite sets is the included, coordinating die!

The papers on this card are from the Build a Scene 6x6 Paper Pack.  The cardstock used was Oreo and Candy Corn. . .and of course Sugar Cube for the card base.  I used a few Build a Scene Sequins in the "sky" to add to some sparkle to the card too.  Tomorrow is RELEASE DAY!  So, you only have one more sleep to purchase anything you've just gotta have!  :)

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.
