Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peeks: Balloon Buddies and One & Only You
Hi there! I hope you're having a great day! Today starts the beginning of sneak peeks for the Taylored Expressions September Release! :) And this release is extra special because it's TE's 7th birthday!! We have lots of fun new products to show you over the next few days!! Today I have two projects to share and the first uses the NEW Balloon Buddies set. Balloon Buddies is a fun set with animals and balloons. It has a coordinating die set, Balloon Buddies, that will be available for purchase separately.
For my card I used it along with the NEW Presents Cutting Plate. The Presents Cutting Plate comes with dies that you can "back" the presents so they will be a different color from what is behind them. The background paper is from the NEW Hello Happiness 6x6 Paper Pack. This a fun, happy new paper pack with patterns that are great for birthdays or just celebrations in general! The cardstocks I used are from the NEW Hello Happiness Matched Kit. There are two new color cardstocks this month, Pink Champagne and Mint Julep! The elephant was stamped, colored and then die cut using the Balloon Buddies Coordinating Dies. I love how he looks like he's flying away! :) Another new product I used on this card is the Skinny Mini Party Borders. They create a fun party atmosphere when you string them across a card! As a finishing touch I added sequins from the NEW Hello Happiness Matched Sequins.
The second project I have to share today uses the NEW One & Only You Stamp & Die Combo. One & Only You will be free with a purchase of $50 or more during our birthday celebration. This is a fun sentiment set that comes with a coordinating die. The die diecuts a cursive "you" and the stamped sentiments can pair with that "you".
For my card, I used the "celebrating" sentiment along with the fun papers from the Hello Happiness 6x6 Paper Pack. On the top of the card, I used the NEW Graphic Impressions - Birthday Embossing Folder. Again, I used the Skinny Mini Party Borders to add to the "celebration"! :) And of course it wouldn't be a party with the Hello Happiness Matched Sequins to give the card some sparkle!

VLV You Are Gorgeous
Hi there! It's Friday and time for another Viva la Verve Challenge!! I'm hosting this week, so please come play along! For my card, I used the Learning to Sail set from Verve Stamps. I paired it with some papers I had in my stash from the Simple Stories I {Heart} Summer Collection.
I stamped the sailboat on multiple pieces of patterned paper and paper pieced it to give it color. The sun was stamped and colored using Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white. As a finishing touch I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen around the border of the card.
I hope you've been inspired today! Please come play along with the sketch! I'd love to see what you create! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Thanks So Much
Hi there! I have a card to share today that was inspired by a card on Pinterest. I love looking on Pinterest while I'm sitting waiting at the bus stop. . .or waiting anywhere. There are so many neat ideas out there! The card I created today was inspired by THIS CARD by Taylor VanBruggen. I LOVED this card by Taylor for many reasons. I love the color combination and the silhouette image, but for my card, I was inspired by the grouping of circles and the focal point and then the hearts and enamel dots that accent the grouping.
For my card, I used the Simply Stamped - Daisies set along with the coordinating Simply Stamped - Daisies Dies. The patterned paper is from the Double the Fun 6x6 Paper Pack. I punched 3 different size circles out of Oreo cardstock. I put the middle-sized circle through my Big Shot with the Ikat Embossing Folder. It gave a nice texture to the grouping and made a distinction between the 3 circles. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white. The flowers were stamped, die cut and then mounted on the card with foam tape. I added some Wedding Sequins around the card for some sparkle as well as some glittery shavings on the flowers. I finished the card off with some Baker's Twine.
I hope you've been inspired today! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Wee Bit Wicked
I started by using a mask that I just tore and then sponged to make the orange/yellow background on the card base. I stamped, colored and die cut the cat and bat from the set using the coordinating Tag-a-long Halloween Dies. To add to the scene, I used the Spooky Fence Border Die. I found this glittery duct tape at the store and thought I could use it in my cardmaking. I stuck a piece of it across a piece of cardstock and then die cut the fence out of it! It worked really well! It die cut great AND I ended up with a black, glittery fence! :)
To finish the card off, I used some Baker's Twine. I hope you've enjoyed the card today and that you've been inspired! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

VLV Hi Friend
Hi there! I have a card that I created for last Friday's Viva la Verve Sketch. It's a fun sketch, so I hope you'll play along! I used some fun papers from Heidi Swapp for my card along with the Lean On Me, Dreamy Leaves Die Set and Flag It Die Set from Verve.
I stamped and colored the flowers using Copic markers. After I was happy with the coloring, I put a coating of Stardust Stickles on them for a little sparkle.
To see more creations using this sketch, head on over to the Viva la Verve Blog! Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!
