More Text Boxed

This was another try with the Text Boxed set from Papertrey Ink. I stamped the flower box on vellum and then colored on the back of the vellum with Stampin' Write markers in Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. Then I flipped the vellum around to stamp "smile" in Basic Black and add some Stardust Gel pen to the stem and leaves. I like how it turned out, very simple. The last minute additions were the ribbon and the piercings. Thanks for visiting! I'm hoping to get to some challenges today. We'll see! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Text Boxed, Papertrey Ink; Paper- DCWV green, cream, vellum; Ink- Basic Black, River Rock; Accessories- Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive markers, Sakura Stardust gel pen, grosgrain ribbon, paper piercer, hole punch.

OK where the heck have I been? I've missed your last few posts....boy I'm slackin! Anyway, I just got my PaperTrey set too...I'm struggling a bit with it! You makes yours look so easy! I love both of the cards you made with it! I especially love the Fourth of July one! Happy Birthday to your daughter...what a cutie pie! Hope she is feeling better soon!!!

Charmaine,

This is a lovely card. I've not purchased this set yet b/c I'm a little unsure about it. This card and the others you've made w/ this set, though, are helping me warm up to this set. I love your work! Thanks for sharing!

This looks so nice. I spent hours last night looking at that set trying to think of something I could do with it. I was using the same color scheme you used. Why couldn't I have thought to do that. It's too late now though, I finally came up with something else with a different stamp set. I'll have to remember this idea though.
