This was for today's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS, Scallops. This was pretty easy for me because I LOVE scallops. . .the scallop punches, scissors and the scallops you can make with the slit punch. For this card, I used the Giga Scallop Oval punch and my slit punch to make the scallops along the bottom of the card. I'm not real crazy about the colors on this card, but I pulled from my scrap bin and tried not to cut any new paper. I haven't used my Cuttlebug embossing folders in a while either, so I pulled out the Bubbles folder. I thought it went well with the dots on the flower. I watercolored the main image with an Aquapainter, but I wish I would have used my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I couldn't keep the colors from bleeding everywhere, and they're not as vibrant as I would like them to be. Smaller images are harder for me to watercolor. I don't know about you! Thanks for stopping by!
