TE Blast From the Past Blog Hop

It's time again for the Blast From the Past Blog Hop at Taylored Expressions!  This month's theme is a favorite for me. . .Clean and Simple!  For my card, I used the Discover Your Wings set along with the Take Note 3 Die

I die cut on a scrap piece of paper and then attached that paper to the paper I actually wanted to stamp on to form a mask.  I sponged a background using Angel Pink, Cantaloupe and Bamboo Leaves ink.  Then I stamped the flower image.  After all of the stamping and sponging was finished, I removed the mask and stamped my sentiment.  I trimmed the focal piece and "roughed up" the edges a bit with my scissors to create a distinction between the focal piece and card base since they were both the same color.  I mounted the focal piece onto the card base with foam tape.  I also die cut a tiny butterfly out of vellum using the Butterflies Die set and added some Stardust Stickles for some sparkle!

You can see more Clean and Simple goodness by visiting the rest of the participants of the hop!  Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day!
